Sorry, other than both of us being pretty darn good looking and almost the same age, (I'm 13 month older) no connection that I am aware of. Honestly, I just went to IMDB and looked, and I don't believe I have ever seen a single movie with Hugh Jackman in it.

Not the start Jimmie wanted with Cliff, they were going to have a good day, probably top 10 car before Blaney turned him. I think that's why he was unusually peeved, wanted that good result with Cliff race #1, and frustrations from the last 2 years finally boiling over.
