Baseball gods just don't want either teams streak to end
 
Even those like myself who can't stand baseball still feel they have no choice but to watch game 7 of the world series.
 
I'd be pretty happy to see the Cubs win. 108 years is a long fuggin time. It would also maybe give Steve Bartman some closure.... Which would be nice lol.

I don't even really follow baseball, let alone have as dog in that fight, but holy ****, what an incredible game!
 
Congrats to our resident cubbies fans. I watched a stream of the scene outside of Wrigley until about 1:30 am pacific. **** was still going ham.
 
I'm torn on the Cubs being champions. I HATE....HAAAAATE them like crazy and always cheer when they lose. However, my grandparents were both huge Cubs fans and they always wanted to see them finally lift the curse. I lost my grandpa 7 years ago and my grandma a few days ago...I wish my grandma had lived a few days longer to see them win, but I'm pretty sure she was at the game regardless.
