We've been over this before. He races everyone like a complete dick but since he's 5-time and the media loves him he's NASCAR Jesus.
 
I am not a Jeffy fan at all, but man, that drifting burnout was cool as hell! It was nice to hear him give Kenseth credit, and it was cool to see Harvick apologize to Newman for wrecking him.

Gordon seems to always be the most excited to win. Drift burnout & double fist pumps. Not showboating just pure adrenaline fueled excitement.
 
I was a little ticked to that Biff was in JJ's face I mean I'm not a direct fan of Johnson BUT I am a fan of the bowtie. Jimmie's a 5 time champ, right now what that means is this: as far as active drivers he's at the head of the table every week. There's a patch on the right upper portion of Jimmie's firesuit that says 5 TIME SPRINT CUP CHAMPION, when Greg got in his face, Jimmie should've pointed at that & walked off...
 
Congrats to all the Gordon fans, I know there are a bunch of you on here.

I would've liked to see Kenseth win, but he re-took the points lead (tied with JJ but leading based on wins), and Gordon only picked up 3 points on him, so we'll take it.

It was a joke, Dsquads answer was most logical really. Now that he's old and mature, not dominating week in and week out, there's less hate. Except for Dega, I'm pretty sure they still hate JG. Haha

Yeah dude, I wanted Kenseth to win too, but whatever, he's already won seven times this year. Jeff can have one.

On that note, congrats to Jeffy and all his fans. I felt the same euphoria you all are feeling when Junior won at Michigan last year and when Brad won at Charlotte a couple of weeks ago. Enjoy your moment. :)
 
Anyone have any video of the burnout? ESPN just showed him wrestling the wheel the whole time.
 
Did the press consference passed already? I'm viewing it now and nothing is going on at all.

I totally agree with you, but in all fairness, I highly doubt that most die-hard fans of any particular driver would ever feel that way. They want to see their guy win all 36 races.

I'm trying to be gracious here. It ain't easy. LOL.

I watched Gordon's first win here back in 1996 on youtube last night. That was a wacky finish. ;)
 
Between the Lions and Jeff Gordon winning I am pretty much ready pass out. What a crazy day.
