Of the new PlayStation online thing.
@SlicedBread22
You try it out yet? I heard they may have actually improved from the last couple of years.

That's what I did before.. waited a few weeks and got a used copy lol.. plus I want to see if there's people complaining and wait until the first patch comes out.If the past product is any indication of this present one then waiting until next week should yield you a great buy grabbing one of the returns.
Looks like the display hub is improved.
I guess the cost of producing the game for the new system exceeds the expected sales and isn't feasible financially for them to do. Makes sense to me, there isn't enough people that have bought a ps4 or xbox1 for them to be able to cover the production of it. It would cost something like 6 million to upgrade to the new software, and the projected sales apparently isn't high enough to justify it.As much as I've panned this game and don't plan on buying it I have yet to receive any game/sim that didn't require a 'day one' download. The most celebrated games required downloads.
That being said. This game could be flawless but the fact that it is not being produced for today's hardware is a major factor with me.
Sure it wasn't Kyle Busch? If it was it sounds pretty realistic to me.Other than that, the physics still look terrible (Newman gets hammered and barely gets sideways? Lol)
This could also be their last attempt at NASCAR too. Why bother upgrading to the next generation of consoles if you don't even know for sure yet whether or not you're going to continue producing games? If they were locked in for a few more years they probably would have just waited for a mid-to-late 2014 release.I guess the cost of producing the game for the new system exceeds the expected sales and isn't feasible financially for them to do. I've never seen a driver do a backflip after winning a race in any game...I wonder if every driver still does back flips after they win? Whoever was in charge of the game saw one Carl Edwards win and thought that's what all drivers do.

I think his main issue was that he was going too hard... over driving the turns waaay too much and had to wait to get in the gas... u can see him sliding up the track every turn.... also I think part of the issue with the AI is that they're programmed to run conservatively as if it were a 500 mile race... they use telemetry right? So they have hundreds of laps of information of the cars on tracks but a guy like me or you playing a video game drives like crazy, wears the hell out of the brakes and tires and most likely wouldn't make it to the end of a full race with full damage.Whoever is driving didn't push too hard. He stuck to the outside and went half throttle in the turns & got back to the gas way late to give off the impression of a competitive AI. even on the outside he was almost able to make 2 car passes & when he did (accidentally) dive into a turn at full speed he slammed into Newman without spinning him. I really don't care about physics, I'm just sick of NASCAR games with slow as molasses AI and the ability to get the pole even if you spin out in qualifying. I gotta go now, Forza is calling my name.
Wrong. I've done a full race once on NTG with all assists off and full damage. I had to spin myself out several times just to keep myself from dying of boredom and still lapped the field twice and won. Also just checked with someone and you do control the restart from the lead... nice!
Want to get it, as soon as I find a retailer in my area of town, I will get it
I might do thatWhy not buy it online?
I haven't played offline yet. I'll probably get into that today and I'll let u know. Won the Daytona 500 in my league last night thoughI almost bought the game last week but decided to hold off. I said I wasn't gonna get Inside Line and I eventually caved and bought it, so I have no doubt that I'll eventually get this game too.
How is the AI, Slice?
