Ooo, I like this one. The only three races without a former champion finishing in the top five last year were Texas I, Richmond I, and Talladega II.

One of the ideas behind the prediction is that it's on the line every race.

Does Bobby Labonte have a ride this year? If so, he might come in handy at a restrictor plate race.

Rookies will win four Cup races in 2014, matching the total of Jimmie Johnson and Ryan Newman in 2002.

Yeah my prediction was too bold, no prob, I know what my prediction is and if it happens I will be laughing my a$$ off. SHR is going to be something to watch this year I think. They may not win much, but they will be scrappy.

The 2014 Sprint Cup Champion will be a First-Time CUP Champion.
