I was thinking of changing my prediction to:
"Before the end of the 26th race, and shortly after Brian France is successfully kidnapped, the kidnappers announce that he won't be released until the Chase championship format is entirely eliminated, effectively immediately."
Hopefully I wouldn't be a suspect if it actually happened . . .

I don't have a clue and I know Brian doesn't. He's proved to be clueless on several occasions.
As far as changing predictions up until Daytona Eve..... That has always been part of this game.

I was thinking the same thing.. but in 2004 and 2011 when the points systems were changed they were announced during the off season and brought into effect immediately.. I see it going the same way here.. when does NASCAR ever announce anything in detail a year early?
