I've always found the after the lap special to be a fun watch. Will Chase be getting his ROY award on stage Friday night? Don't remember how they've done that in the past.

I don't remember for sure but I thought that was @ the Myers Brothers Awards Luncheon on Thursday. That's when they do the individual awards.

I used to watch every year... Haven't since Jimmie was have way thru 5-in-a-row..

Anyone out there watch this?

We still do. Off of the DVR anyhow. When we have time.
No....... I don't....... used to not miss it years ago..... I have no interest in it at all now...... I tuned in a couple times lately .... I can't imagine them having that Jay Mohr guy.... I can't appreciate him at all..... Hell Larry the Cable Guy or Jeff Foxworthy would be a much better choice... and that's scraping the bottom of the barrell!!!!!!!!

I don't know the guy. Does he know anything about NASCAR, other than what his agent told him when he landed the gig? Is he a fan of the sport, or is he just reading jokes his (equally ignorant?) writers came up with?
I don't know him personally so I don't know the answer to that. I do know that he is a big sports fan and has his own sports radio show on FOX Sports Radio. I've never listened to it however.

I'd do the fan thing if I drove.

Figure the profit ‘n my pals ‘n I are equal partners with the promoter(s) when it’s split.

The kids won't remember the days when the drivers wrote their own speeches and weren't reading someone else's words off the teleprompter . I can't watch todays crap , the soaps are more exciting .

Reactions: Pat
Tim Love beat Batali inna BBQ throw down at the track near Ft. Worth, TX a while back. Ain’t thinkin’ Batali’s been around since then.
Batali is a hack. Bobby Flay is da man. :D

Flay’s all TV. He’s good with beef. DeLorento, or whatever her name is, thinks so anyways.

Batali has no equal in Italian. Symon can cook anything, on anything.

The best is Daddy Jack Chaplin, New London, CT on YouTube.
