I got McDowell this weekend. That car runs decent at Texas.

I appreciate the time pjmolo has invested. There's a lot of nice touches he has added to the game within the spreadsheets and stuff. He took something that was good and made it great

I have 3 daughters, one 16, one 1 and half, one 5. the 16 yr lives with me (her mom took off) the 5 yr old lives her mom so I deal with that, and the 1.5 yr old lives with me. And I have a wife on top of that.

This week only one player failed to make a pick but, unfortunately, another player picked a driver that he had already used.

Although picking an ineligible driver doesn't count as a NO PICK, it does mean that he'll get 41 points for the week.

I'll post the complete list of picks later today.

This week game management was required to make several determinations based upon the Official Rules that can be found in the NASCAR Pick 'Em 2017- Atlanta thread.

It turns out that not one, but two players failed to make a pick this week, including @recjus85 who failed to make a pick for a fourth time.

Consequently, @recjus85 has been dropped from the game, as per Rule #6 of the Official Rules..

Meanwhile, @jpell15 picked Trevor Bayne for Texas, apparently not realizing that he had already used Bayne at Las Vegas. He'll get 41 points for the week, as per Rule #7.

Youse guys are most certainly welcome.

What with the passion for the series that exists on this board I'm only happy to add something to the mix.

The major difference from previous years is that I don't have any skin in the game now.

So I'm thinkin' that over and might possibly figure out a way to take over that 25th player position that just opened up.

That's the exact look I had too when I saw how awful he was today minus the electrical problems. Although I didn't pick him for this game, I thought he would be a strong contender to win this race. Fast, slippery surface was perfect for him due to his experience in ice racing.

There was a significant shake-up at the top of the standings this week as previous leader @Michfan dropped to second place after getting screwed by a crazed Paul Menard (see above) who finished 36th at Texas.

But it coulda been worse. @aunty dive picked 38th place Kasey Kahne and dropped from 3rd to fifth in the standings.

Congrats to @Hotrod who picked 9th place finisher Chase Elliott and moved to the top of the standings.

Congrats also to @wilson89 who had the best finishing pick, 2nd place Kyle Larson.

And after a short lived evacuation of the cellar, @Fordracing7 is again comfortably wiping up the rear of the standings following @recjus85 decision to drop out of the game.
