NASCAR Ticket Specials (From the track ticket office only!)

This is a great thread. I'm considering going to the Michigan or Martinsville race. If I can save money doing so I certainly will. If nothing else, both tracks regular ticket prices are reasonable.
Honestly, you can buy 25 dollar turn 2 tickets at the gate. I've done it once or twice and know people who do it almost every time. Good seats too.

Don't know if it's still going on, but Richmond was offering pit passes with the purchase of a ticket.

I just got this in an email. Looks like a good deal.

Go to bojangles. They'll hook you up. They have a deal with the track.
Last year they had a BOGO offer that we used, this year I renewed at full price to keep our seats (acutally relocated a few sections over a bit later). The only offer I saw from Bojangles this year was a code from the restaurants to enter a drawing for a weekend hospitality package. I couldn't find any ticket specials.

That's all I have seen too. Haven't seen the BOGO they were offering last year.

It sounds all well and good until you read the fine print where it says "only in certain sections". Pretty sure you could get near free kids tickets before if you're willing to have some horrible seats.

Kids 12 and under don't care.

Going to a race is still a great time! Get to the track!

I wouldn't mind getting to one more race this year if I can do it on the cheap. Dover is the logical choice but Martinsville is more intriguing...

They have a buy one get 20 dollars off 2nd ticket listed on the cups I believe.

Interesting, I've never looked at the price to attend an NHRA event. That's $28 more than I spend for a 3 day ticket to Martinsville.

That's one reason why I posted it. For the comparisons.

I've never been to a drag race. What is the seating capacity at a big show? 30-40K?

I get a lot of emails from the tracks. Here's one of this mornings. Want some free nachos?

Pocono giving away an Arctic Cat ATV or snowmobile if you renew by Nov. for 2017...

A friendly reminder to all 2016 Pocono Raceway ticket holders...

You should have received two items from our staff. A renewal program email, sent on September 1st, and a bright green envelope, which we mailed to your house, in order to help you renew your tickets for the 2017 racing season at 'The Tricky Triangle!' If for some reason you did not receive a communication from us already, we apologize. We are human and sometimes make mistakes. The good news is, there is a simple solution. Give us a call at 1-800-722-3929 so we can personally assist you.

As part of the renewal program, you can save 20% on your 2017 tickets, lock in your seats and have the first chance to add, upgrade or relocate your tickets. And, that's not all!

By renewing your tickets, you also gain automatic entry into Pocono Raceway's "Great Arctic Cat Giveaway*." One lucky fan will win their choice of either an Arctic Cat snow machine or ATV.

Not bad. You going to Phoenix by chance? Or anyone else?

Yeah I bought in. I'll be at the races that weekend. You?

I'm coming from Utah so I'm thinking about flying out and going. Not sure if that ticket package is worth it or should I spend my money wisely on row 40-50 in Turn 1?

Well the ticket package I listed was only good for the week. They still have a 3 race package but it doesn't include the pit pass.
Anyway, if you decide to go to the truck race or xfinity race, get the cheapest ticket you can find. You can pretty much sit anywhere because the place won't be that full. The cup race might be a little different so you might want to spend a little for that race if you want to guarantee a good seat.

Hm thanks for the advice. I've noticed though that NASCAR has tried bunching up people towards the center of the speedway to make things look more full at many racetracks. So I wasn't sure.

Disappointed to see K&N West isn't returning on Thursday.

The NHRA National event in Brainerd Minnesota always draws in over 100,000.
