Nationwide Race Thread - Bristol

Who is this Timmy Hill idiot that the drivers are complaining about? Apparently he's driving like a jackwagon.

A caution for THAT?!

I see NASCAR's making up for the lack of wrecks in this configuration with fake cautions.

Yep...Bruton Smith is a moron and the announcers and "company men" can say all they want - but attendance totals will tell the real story.

Fans aren't going to pay big bucks to see "debris cautions" at Bristol. Simple as that.

How many Dads are telling their kids in the stands "I remember when..."

"Yeah...sure Dad - can we go home now?"

"But son...the rumble of the engines...the smell"

"Yeah Dad...it was cool for the first 10 laps..."

That was as intentional as it gets... I wonder if there was a prior discussion between KyBusch and Brian Scott before that wreck.

I really don't see a whole lot of difference by them removing the progressive banking. Before the changed the track to the progressive banking, everyone hugged the bottome. Well, they removed the progressive banking, and now everyone is kind of staying in the middle groove.

It was Kyle who got into Brian Scott, Kyle takes blame over his radio. #PitStudio #NASCAR

I think the racing's a little better. There are multiple grooves but it's not as easy to pass as it was on the previous configuation.

Oops, ignore this post. I got an error message, so I reposted this after editing it a little. My reply is two posts down.

They never removed all of the progressive banking as some have claimed. They only removed some banking along the outside wall. It's still progressive on the bottom 2/3 of the turns.

That makes sense...I didn't think they were telling the truth.
