Selfishly, I hope she stays in college one more year. No one really watches the WNBA. College hoops has a built-in fan base with alumni.

That said, Sabrina Ionescu vs. Steph Curry next week should be pretty fun.
 
See that’s what I’m talking about with Clark she’s one of the best and she’ll dominate the WNBA but that’s a completely unnecessary shot.
 
Iowa does NOT play good team basketball.

And they didn't have their best player involved enough in almost the entire 4th quarter. Are they trying to get the record broken at home?

I hope she does just so she makes more money. Strike while the irons hot. That NIL money blows WNBA money out of the water.

I think Iowa wants the record broken at home.

Some of the loss falls on the coach for whatever the strategy shift was heading into the fourth quarter. But a lot of it falls on Kate Martin. She had a terrible first half, an okay third quarter, and they're trying to make her the go-to player in the fourth when she kept giving the ball away and missing layups.

I don’t think Iowa did a very good job crashing the boards and getting more shots up.

Kate Martin's seven turnovers were the difference maker to me, along with the missed rebounds.

Bluder made the decision to have Kate Martin be the "go to" player in the fourth quarter and it was a much different game.

NIL is the great game changer in that regard. She’s doing State Farm commercials now and was doing stuff for HyVee around the Iowa IndyCar weekend last year.

WBB Final Four comes to town next year too.
 
Well I was going to post on how well the University of South Carolina's men's basketball team was playing and ready to crack the top 10, ..... but nevermind.
