Paid $2.96 per gallon for 87 octane in Wytheville, VA Sunday 2/19/23 at a TA truck stop.

My cheapest station went up over 50 cents in 3 weeks. It is now at $4.50. It had gone as low as $3.50 a couple of months back.

When I left town last Sunday the price had dropped to $4.27 but when I arrived at my destination 150 miles northeast the price was $4.59. I will see if it goes up or down when I head back south in a week or two...or three. :D

Wendell NC, 15ish miles East ish of Raleigh, 3.29 for at least 2 week. Was 3.39 before that. 2.60ish 60 miles away in Warsaw week or so ago. Warsaw NC, NOT Poland.

Says 2.65 in Warsaw. 62 miles from I440 beltline.
I'm pretty excited that gas has stayed under $4 at my local cheaper stations. One is $3.97 and the other is $3.99. So, if it is $2.65 there that would be the norm for here. We are usually $1.00 to $1.50 higher at our cheaper stations.

I don't get the 60+ cent difference 60 miles away? They screwing us! Just cause they can. I don't use but, worst case, two tanks month. So really doesn't matter very much. 20ish MPG S10 4.3 granny driven except when driving to Warsaw, etc. Gets 23ish on trip like that. 3:08 gears love 80MPH.

I see a 40 cent difference over a 12-mile stretch. Of course, the highest price is the isolated convenience store closest to the marina ;)
