I committed the sin of not padding my recording by 30 minutes and missed the end of qualifying. I know better and should have used my DirecTV phone app to extend it. Totally forgot.
I keep my NASCAR setting @ a +3 hour window. It may seem like overkill until it comes up short. I've got a 2 DVR Network setup each capable of 2TB worth of recordings. Room to record in not a concern.

The phone apps are very cool. Does DirecTV allow you to watch as well as set your DVR's? My Dish DVR's both incorporate the Slingbox technology. I can hook my phone to any HDMI connection and have my Dish away from home. Technology is great!

@TheMiniChad
waiting to see how nascar fines itself for the air Titan. don't they have to follow the 100% rule & let 100% of tracks have it?

If its gonna rain all day Sunday, the titan can't do much.
As of now its supposed to pass over by 12 or so, if that happens there should be time to dry the track, especially if they had the titan.

If it passes over by 12, they'll be able to dry the track and be on by 2:30.

Evil Clint top of the board to end the second practice.

Kasey Kahne strong in both sessions.. As is Bowyer and Jr. Newman struggling for speed big time.

It's a good thing they bring these cars in so we can actually see some good racing.

I'm beginning to the the Air Titan is nothing more than a myth.
I wasn't impressed with what it did at Talladega in the spring. I think that one picture everybody saw of it at Daytona was doctored. No idea what the tracks are being charged for it, but honestly if I was the president of a track I don't think I'd hire it either. The improvement seemed marginal at best over a traditional jet dryer.

Gordon got work to do. None impressive practices and very low on the speed sheet that counts the most.

Full day of racing here in London. Mods ruled as usual. K&N race waS good. ACT Tour was a wreckedfest.Having Steaks for dinner back at the camper.r.Damn fine day here at NHMS

I thought you were in Loudon, what kind of racing did they have in London today. :D

Seriously, it looks like another week of frustration for us Gordon fans.

Have zero confidence in Alan to find speed for Jeff.
