NFL 2013

I'll be at the Titans-Jets game next Sunday. Amazingly, one of those teams will be 3-1 when that one's over.

Jeez, WTF is going on with the Niners this year?
Last year I thought we'd finally made some progress. This year feels like the last 10 years...:(

The 3-0 Dolphins are bringing winning football to the state of Florida. The Bucs and Jags, not so much.
Good for the Dolphins too, I think they can seriously challenge the Patriots for the AFC East this year. It's time for a change in that division.

Interesting stat I saw today. Everyone talks about the NFC dominance right now. AFC is 11-2 (soon to be 11-3) against the NFC so far this season.

Also, the Jets are 2-1 but only 10th in the AFC. The Eagles are 1-2 but have the second NFC WC.

I missed all the games today but what in the world happened to the Giants? They were destroyed on a biblical level. I know it's only 3 games in but it won't be long before some head coaches(NY, Wash, and Pit) are on the hot seat.

Tomlin is probably safe in Pitt, but Haley will be shown the door.

Coughlin is definitely on the hot seat. They could easily be 0-6 with the undefeated Chiefs, Eagles (throw out the records in this rivalry, and Bears coming up.

Shanahan probably will be safe too. They need to be RGIII and give Cousins a chance.

Browns win! Lombardi giving the middle finger to the city of Cleveland. Hoyer, in his 2nd career start, now has more game winning drives than Weeden.

Oh, and TRich's first run as a Colt is for a TD.
Josh Gordon coming back from suspension was, by far, the biggest difference in the Browns' offense yesterday. Hoyer was pretty good, but his 3 picks were the reason they needed to have a comeback in the last minute.

Turnstile offensive line and a defense that is below average from line to secondary is not a recipe for success. With a couple of Super Bowl titles Coughlin can probably coach as long as he wants to though, but with the way things are going that might not even be very long.

Oakland is a solid team. It's tough when you're playing against Peyton Manning though.

Sigh, Denver, another team the Jags have to play.

They want to fire Coughlin at some point every year and then they put a run together and end up winning a Super Bowl twice and he is suddenly a hall of fame coach again.

It's certainly looking like Denver vs. Seattle in Super Bowl XLVIII.
It looks that way right now, but that is almost guaranteed to change by the end of the year. Injuries have a way of changing the landscape rather dramatically. The Broncos already have a couple of key players hurt, including their starting left tackle. It didn't matter last night, but that was against the JV Raiders. They only get to play them one more time this year. I love Peyton and hope that they do win it all, but I'm not counting any chickens yet.

Eh, the Raiders aren't completely awful this year. Not a playoff team by any means, but I think they will win 6 or 7 games. Might even surprise a couple teams and go 8-8.

Heck, The Lions were already without their top running back, so it's only fitting that they lose their 2nd best WR. I swear these guys can never catch a break! If they could go without any injuries, they could actually have a decent record.

don't worry I am sure your jags will play spoiler to a couple AFC South teams this year. Even with the Colts win in San Fran, I am not buying them to run away with the division. I am sure it will be a close one this year between Colts, Texans, and Titans, and which even team can sweep the Jags will probably win the division.

my neighbor is a huge Giants fan. After this Sunday's game he was like "I can't wait for Cowher!" I told him don't count your chickens yet, because in that division a 8-8 or 7-9 record might make the play offs. I said knowing the Giants they will make a late season run, win the division, and probably make it to the NFC championship game. I then said no way in hell the fire Coughlin if that happens. lol

Well first quarter no teams offense offense any good. Could have been a TD for Rams but got a lucky FG
At least St.Louis defense came to play.
