NFL 2013

Was a great game tonight, soooooo glad my Niners got it done! Here is hoping next week that they knock that towel clean off Newton's head!

I believe the "final four" will be NE @ Denver and Niners @ Seattle (even though I would love for Saints to take them out next week!)

Damn, I sure hope Tom Brady shuts the a**hole Colts fans up next weekend.
The Colts got smoked the first time Luck faced the Patriot
I was expecting to wake up hearing that Marvin Lewis had been fired. I feel so bad for Bengals fans right now.
Marvin Lewis is this generation's version of Marty Schottenheimer. Not getting it done in the playoffs cost Marty his job in a couple places, even got canned after a 14-2 season in San Diego because of one too many "one-and-dones" in the playoffs.

Lewis will be gone next year when his contract is up. No way in hell will Mike Brown pay for 2 coaches. With that being said, the Bengals loss was on Andy Dalton this time.

Pats and Seattle in the Bowl......my upset prediction Chargers go into Denver and thrash the Broncos, Manning gets hurt in first quarter and all down hill from there.

When Manning is on, he's incredible. When he's off, it's pick after pick after pick.

Should be some great games this weekend. I'm working Saturday but I should be home in time for the Saints/Seahawks kick off.

Looks like Bengals OC Jay Gruden will be the Redskins next head coach. Hasn't been officially named yet, but the NFL reports that they're in the "final stages" of negotiation.

Josh McDaniels asked to be removed from the coaching search for the Browns head coaching position. I can't tell you how happy this makes me. He's a local guy, being from Canton, Ohio and he seems to have a pretty good offensive mind, but he failed pretty spectacularly as a head coach in Denver. He lost like 17 of his last 22 games there. He's been rumored to be the front runner for the job from the day they fired Chudzinski, and I've been afraid of that happening.

Titans are considering Ravens OC/former Colts HC Jim Caldwell. The guy was great in Indy with Peyton Manning and a disaster without him. Hopefully it'll work out if he ends up being the hire.

To be fair, Indianapolis purposefully, deliberately and intentionally lost games and tanked an entire season so they could get Andrew Luck and Jim Irsay pretty much said that much publicly and on the record.

I guess nobody could win with Curtis Painter as their QB. I'd be happy with Caldwell or Whisenhunt, the two guys they seem the most interested in.

Oh, please, don't be fooled. Curtis Painter sucks but that was a wholesale effort. That team found ways to lose games they had no business losing. Painter was the only one putting any effort out there. Can't blame him for the dropped passes and stuff. The rest of the team was involved in a widespread conspiracy to lose games so they could get the top draft pick. It was blatantly obvious ... to everyone.

Yeah, I know the "Suck For Luck " campaign was real. It'd be nice if we could get Caldwell and he could take his revenge out on the Colts twice a year for making him be a pawn in that mess.

Bhahahahaha Steelers Fans:XXROFL:

An imprisoned Pittsburgh Steelers fan has sued the National Football League and wants a federal judge to delay the remainder of the playoffs so the Steelers can have another chance to qualify for them.

Epic story.

I don't like the Steelers but they did get screwed. Too bad it wasn't NASCAR - the Steelers would've been added as a seventh seed.

On the other hand, the Chargers were screwed against the Texans too. Chargers win that game, Steelers don't even have a shot at the playoffs no matter what the outcome was of Chargers/Chiefs.

I think we end up with another coordinator turned head coach for the first time. Banner sucks, and because of that, no real HC is coming to Cleveland. Banner wants a puppet on a string, and won't give up much control to the HC. Wouldn't be surprised to see Denver's OC get the job.

I agree. Why would you want to work for a group that put that product on the field last year and then canned the coach after one season of watching it perform as expected? Banner has shown himself to be excellent with the salary cap in his NFL career, but has virtually no player evaluation record to speak of. His first year in charge of personnel was horrible. He signed mostly bad free agents and overpaid for the ones he did get. His draft was horrible. I wouldn't be surprised to see Denver's OC get the job either, although to be honest I think that might be a good thing. He's had a great mentor in Peyton Manning. I wouldn't mind Whisenhunt, or a successful college head coach either at this point. I'm just glad we sidestepped the McDaniels mine.

I'm not sold on Adam Gase though. They act like he's some great OC, but, lets be real, Peyton Manning is his QB. Everyone knows Peyton runs that kffense. Denver doesn't even need an OC. Lol. I fear Peyton makes him look more like a genius than he really is.

Buck and Aikman have the 49ers-Panthers game tomorrow. The Cowboys aren't playing, so they better grab a program on the way in so they know who the players are.

Does FOX have nobody better than these two? I honestly don't know because I usually only watch the Jaguars games and they're usually on CBS.

Same here, Titans only had two games on Fox this year and I was at one of them. Other than Buck and Aikman, I'm not really familiar with their broadcasters.
