Yes it has shaped up to be a fine game, and I'd be fine with either team facing the Chiefs in the Super Bowl. If it must be the Pats instead, I'm fine with either team winning the Super Bowl.
 
Not a fan of that call. I guess McVay called the timeout. That was quite the important call. I think it needs to be in control of the QB, but I can understand why the NFL put in the rule.

Man Goff really has been great this second half.
 
I can understand the call to kick the FG. Not sure there is a right call there. It is the conservative call, but not necessarily illogically so.
 
I don't hate Brees.

I just hate that smug a-hole of Payton. The man is a genius though, it cannot be denied.

It’s two inches. If you get it (you should) and make the PAT you make the Saints drive down the field for a TD. If you don’t, you have the Saints inside their own 1. Instead, the Saints get average field position and need any points at all to take back the lead. Seems very weak to me. Then again, I’m generally in the camp where if you can’t pick up anything inside a yard or two when it matters most you don’t deserve to win anyways.

As it is now, the Saints are already in scoring position.

To be fair, Foles played for Jeff Fisher's Rams. A lot of really good quarterbacks have struggled there.

I think the Jags are going to take either Foles or Flacco AND draft a quarterback.
 
Another example on how the officiating is determining the outcome of these games. Call the game as defined by the rules and nothing can be said.
 
5th time in 12 years the NFC Championship Game goes to OT (Giants-Packers ‘07, Saints-Vikings ‘09, Giants-49ers ‘11, Seahawks-Packers ‘14).
 
Good game going into overhaul. But that non pass interference call would have justly ended the game.
 
The NFL wants a Rams-Chiefs rematch so bad.

I’d laugh my ass off if those two teams go to the Super Bowl and it ends in a 10-7 final score.
