Talk of the Titans/Steelers game to be moved from Sunday to Monday night so the Titans can get in some practice beforehand. Nobody from the Vikings, who the Titans played last, tested positive. 3 players, 5 staff from the Titans tested positive.
 
No Steelers Titans game this weekend. Apparently more Titans tested positive. It's going to be rescheduled for later in the season.
 
As a Steelers fan I think that it sucks that the Steelers are going to lose their later bye week this season and to have to play that many games to finish out. No fault of their own.

I does suck when someone is penalized for something that is no fault of their own. Just like when 2 drag racing cars are on a qualifying pass and one of them crosses the center line and takes out a timing block. They void both cars runs... and no rerun for the car that didn't hit the timing block.

Meh.....It’s unfortunate, but they’re not being terribly put out by it. There are regularly scheduled byes starting next week anyway, and Pittsburgh’s was scheduled for Week 8, so they have to take it a month early. At least it’s not like what the Buccaneers had to do a few years ago when they had to take their bye in Week 1, because they were scheduled to open the season against the Dolphins in Miami and the game got postponed due to a hurricane.

Another ridiculous statement of extreme hyperbole.

I agree that Mahomes is the best in the league, but Russell Wilson is VERY close behind. What that dude manages to do year after year with a terrible offensive line and mediocre talent at the skill positions is miraculous.

Wilson’s gonna be the MVP of the league this year if he keeps it up. Seattle’s defense sucks, so he’s been the primary reason the Seahawks are 3-0 right now. 14 TD passes in the first 3 weeks of the season is insane.
 
The Jets/Broncos game has been a good one.

Interesting note: Denver quarterback Brett Rypien
is the nephew of Mark Rypien (former Washington quarterback).

@ 13..... 7 players, 6 non players is the Titans current Covid-19 count. Updated today. It's close to the point where it'll have an impact on their next scheduled game too. It'll be interesting to see how the NFL reacts to all of this.

Joe Tessitore was exponentially better than Steve Levy and was pretty much only ousted because Booger McFarland dragged the entire broadcast team down.

I remember watching Mark as a kid, him Art Monk and then Heath Shuler.
 
I really don't understand why they aren't playing the healthy people. Serious. Quarantine the sick and rock & roll. Somebody explain. It's not like they are going to get sick enough to die anyway cause it's just the flu, right? Why should I, an auto tech, be forced to work for a grand a week but the guys that make minimum of 250K a year don't? Or the checkers at Food Lion making 10-15 hour. You know...the "essential workers". **** these guys. Play or go to work at UPS. You play or your fired. That's how my job works. Spoiled douchebags.

Yep! Any other season during an illness outbreak with a team, the backups and practice squad players would step in to full the void. It should be no different this year. If your team isn't deep enough, then you deserve to lose

And..... I believe that teams are sporting an increased roster size this season for just this reason. I think in this case though, initially some of these players/team members tested negative only to later test positive. I think they're waiting for a set number of days where everyone continues to test negative before allowing the team to get back together for practice and games. I'm guessing there's a helluva lot more to all of this then we can imagine.

I looked at all of this for purely selfish reasons as my team is affected by this through no fault of their own. Because of whatever transpired with the Titans my team loses its scheduled by week forcing a long uninterrupted run to the end of the season. While the Titans self quarantined this past week my team was practicing trying to get ready for the game. They didn't have any off time other than this Sunday. That's not truly an off week like the bye would have given them. It is what it is though and it could happen to any team and still may happen to others.
 
Maaaaan. I’m not sure what to do with my fantasy football team... chiefs pats game is postponed but I could end up not getting it this week. Idk if to take the two players I got out and risk it or keep them in

I got a titan also but I had him on the bench already (Tannehill.) for Rodgers. So that’s thankfully not going to hurt me any. But I got Edelman and Kelce

I have Edelman too, the others are AJ Brown (who was hurt and not gonna play anyway), Jonnu Smith, James Conner, and the Steelers D/ST. And of course the guy I’m playing doesn’t have anybody from these teams.

Yeah I’m projected to lose right now as it’s not counting the possible points those two could get me into it. Other dude is all good.

Things are going to get crazy if they have to keep moving games, you can't move around a football schedule like you can a baseball schedule
