NFL 2021-22

I would love to know some of the Chargers' win probability numbers at various points in the final 10 minutes of that one.
Here's ESPN with 10 seconds left

I have been a Steelers fan since the days of Geri, Rogel, and Bobby Layne.
Now, to the subject. I was absolutely screaming and cursing as CBS stopped televising the Steelers - Ravens game with the score tied and less than 3 minutes to go with the Steelers driving towards the Ravens goal line. I fukking couldn't believe it. CBS switched to the Carolina Panthers - Buccaneers game stating it was because of contractual obligations.

Always have a back-up plan for big games

They're required to.

NFL RedZone is the only way to watch football, especially with days like yesterday.

Yes, that sucked big time.

Not going to pollute this thread with other options but trust me, there are other options. I've mentioned them before in the old 'Streaming Thread' under the IPTV options. Been watching flawlessly for years now. Those options are why I also have 8 televisions mounted in the man cave walls. Done may call it overkill. I call it fandom. While I'm not home every weekend to enjoy all of the games, my wife is every bit a fan of the NFL as I am. She takes advantage of them.

My current setup.....

Nothing in this world is perfect. We just have to learn to deal with the imperfections of everyday life

It’s been some of the worst officiating I’ve ever seen and many other football fans say the same thing. That PI call was far from an imperfection.

Rich Bissacia deserves the Coach of the Year award. With the sheer amount of chaos they've had, to end with a winning record and make the playoffs seemed like a longshot at best.

The Steelers have to be the luckiest franchise in NFL history. Even when they're not that good, the stars always align perfectly for them.

One reason I think so many people hate them. They're the Alabama of the NFL. They could go 6-11 and somehow, a perfect storm would push them into the playoffs.

I really think these refs are betting on games. There have been several games I've watched where the officiating was so horribly one-sided. Pretty much whenever Green Bay, Kansas City, Dallas or Indianapolis is playing, you can expect some shenanigans in the officiating. Although not even the refs could save the Colts from that asswhipping they received in Duval County yesterday.

Last night was perhaps top5 most Chargery end to a season if I've ever seen lol, they should look at that as a Playoff Atmosphere first round loss experience, got outplayed by the Raiders and really had no business winning with the late game offensive heroics (even though was riveting entertainment). Staley I think should reconsider throttling back on some of the aggressiveness and take some of the game flow that's being given next year. The team showed multiple bright spots of potential of what they can do, hopefully they continue to build up personnel they're lacking in certain areas and come back stronger next season.

Why did Staley call the timeout there?

Went back and looked, it was 3rd down & 4 and he just let the playclock run down to about :05 before calling it, sort of a moot point not really stopping much time if he doesn't, saw the Raiders O formation and give the defense a breather if they needed it, regroup get the defensive playcall on that they want etc.
Either way, not much affect as far as time remaining to run out a tie-game, they needed the Raiders to take a knee and not risk the fg after not getting the stop, sure the league wouldn't have liked to see that one though lol.

LMAO!! How long has it been since the Steelers went 6 - 11.

It’s a 17 game schedule. Kinda hard to go 6-11. Percentage points would be a better metric.
6-10 would be better and it most likely got them into the playoffs per Andy.

The Steelers won - lost record speaks for itself over the years. From 2000 to 2020 the Steelers have the 2nd best record. Only the Patriots have a better won - lost record.

2. Pittsburgh Steelers: 217-117-2
