NFL 2023-2024

This was a 1-5 season for all intents and purposes.

The Jags need a complete rebuild. But with mid draft picks, it’s gonna be hard.
The 2023 Jaguars were basically the 2022 Titans. Last year the Titans started 7-3 and got knocked out of the playoffs in Week 18 by the Jaguars, this year the Jaguars started 8-3 and got knocked out of the playoffs in Week 18 by the Titans.

I think the ‘23 Jaguars have a better roster than the ‘22 Titans though, so it may be a bit easier to bounce back.

Since it’s now offseason, time to usher in summer.

Coaching is the primary problem.

And Pederson and Taylor aren’t going anywhere.

You seem disappointed though, my guy.

I really thought you were being crazy pessimistic earlier this season. I didn't think it was possible for the Jaguars to blow it and miss the playoffs, but by God they found a way.

Disappointed because there's NO EXCUSE for losing two of these last three games.

I'd been watching the games and even wins against bad teams left me frustrated because of the play calling and Trevor Lawrence's decision making. The defense constantly blowing 2-3 possession leads. The offense throwing three straight screen passes in situations where they need to run out the clock. Press Taylor completely abandoning the run game even when it's winning the game. Press Taylor calling for checkdowns on third and long, and deep passes on 3rd &1. Doug Pederson refusing to kick field goals and take the points, and coming away with 0 points on countless drives where a field goal keeps the Jags in the game.

It was the same story all year, and it led to a 1-5 stretch. The only win came against the Panthers ... WITH CJ BEATHARD IN AT QUARTERBACK. Which, was another thing. It was clear after the Bengals game that Lawrence wasn't 100% and CJ Beathard gave them the best chance of winning.

Philly down by 17 points and looking like a struggling wild card team is just unbelievable.
They should be much better and a couple of months ago they seemed to be the best team in the NFL they looked like a super bowl winning type of team.

Seems like a good year for the Niners & Rams to sneak their way into the Super Bowl while the Cowboys, Lions choke like they always do.

I hope the Steelers are the Peacock wild card game. The majority of America doesn't deserve to be subjected to watching Mason Rudolph
Too bad the Steelers don't have a playoff game this coming Monday night. Then we all would have a game worth watching. :)

It’s really interesting to see how some teams chose to rest starters, and some chose not to. I have to believe that going against Dallas would be tougher than going against Detroit, so LA sitting Stafford out is an interesting decision considering that had he been in there, LA SHOULD HAVE easily been able to defeat SF and their backups.

Lots of talk about the Jaguars late season slide today, but the Eagles are about to go from 10-1 to 11-6.

There will be a lot of talk about that, but the Eagles are in the playoffs, and the Jaguars reaffirmed their position as the league laughing stock for another year.

I’ve been to 2 NFL preseason games involving Oakland Raiders and 1 vs. the Seahawks at home. I would love to try to get 9 or 10 in a row against the Denver Broncos as a fan in Denver in person as a road fan.

Does the Eagles Super Bowl appearance last year even count? Feels soooo flukey and fraudulent with how they are only putting up 3 points on the pathetic Giants.

Huh? The eagles were a great football team last year. They ran through teams all year. Record wise they’ve actually over performed most SB losing teams. They’ve absolutely fallen apart the last 6 weeks though.
