I used to get upset when ignorant people argued that top level racecar drivers aren't athletes, but learned to consider the source, and take the high road. Same about professional golfers; if you don't think they're dedicated athletes, you have no concept of the amount of preparation and practice it takes to play at the level of the guys on tour. Yes, even guys like John Daly. You're no better than McNabb.
As for McSoup, it's ridiculous to say stuff like 'strap him in for 500 miles in July...', when everybody knows it'd take a week of instruction for him to be able to get a real racecar out of the pits without stalling. If, IF he ever got up to racing speed, he wouldn't make 3 laps without losing control.
