Nice job Fox Sports 1

That's true that they defended JJ, but they(Fox Sports) do employee him. So they are responsible for what he says, no?

Well same can be said for the others, who defended him are they not responsible for what they say?

The answer is no, they(who say it) are responsible for what they say

Tiger woods doesn't carry his clubs, nor does he walk the holes, so...
Sure he does. PGA rules say you can't use a golf cart. The Senior tour can use a golf cart. I believe after that supreme court case, you need a medical exemption to use a golf cart on the tour.

Frankly, as a casual pro golf fan, you guys spewing incorrect facts about professional golf sound just as stupid as Donovan McNabb running his mouth about a sport he doesn't understand.

McNabb once got pulled because he wasn't in shape to run the freaking 2-minute offense.

I agree.

I used to get upset when ignorant people argued that top level racecar drivers aren't athletes, but learned to consider the source, and take the high road. Same about professional golfers; if you don't think they're dedicated athletes, you have no concept of the amount of preparation and practice it takes to play at the level of the guys on tour. Yes, even guys like John Daly. You're no better than McNabb.

As for McSoup, it's ridiculous to say stuff like 'strap him in for 500 miles in July...', when everybody knows it'd take a week of instruction for him to be able to get a real racecar out of the pits without stalling. If, IF he ever got up to racing speed, he wouldn't make 3 laps without losing control.

Drivers aren't athletes? Golfers? What about American Ninja Warrior competitors? Next thing, they'll be saying that about other sports, like Extreme Ironing:

He'll offer a apology then keep living large cashing FS1 pay checks.

I gotta say, didn't expect so many drivers and media members to really care/notice he opened his flapper. Good on everyone directly standing up for their sport!

DeLana Harvick, wife of Kevin Harvick, also responded, stating on Twitter: “Hearing people "discuss" our sport who have no freakin clue what they're talking about is awesome...''

Tell the suits!

I think race car drivers are athletes, but lets be honest. If you don't follow the sport and only see the junk the cup series has put on this year, it doesn't help the sports image. Neither does old timers like hornaday and morgan Shepard racing till their 70. There should be a age maximum to race imo

The point is that even if he knew how to get a car around the track he still wouldn't have the endurance to withstand a full race competitively.

I have a golfer buddy (County POTY in HS) and he's sure as hell in good shape so I have to agree here.

McNabb is an excellent judge of talent...hence his retirement.

Golf has athletes such as Tiger Woods but it also has John Daly and Darren Clarke.

Nascar has athletes such as Jimmie Johnson bit it also has Jimmy Spencer and Tony Stewart.

Dont these football idiots have a club to shoot up or something. I missed out on the whole athlete comment, why is that ???

I dont pay any attention to stick and ball BS

You do realize that KyBu is a Bears and Broncos fan, right?

Eh, I'll be honest, I don't really follow any other sport than stock car racing.

I used to follow a few other sports until the multi millionaire players starting crying and going on strike. That's when it ended for me.

That makes two of us, you should have seen the spit storm a couple months earlier when I was complaining about Fox and how they had screwed up and deleted most of the automotive and racing coverage. Glad to see that change. If I was Nascar and I was happy? with Fox puke, I would get my money up front, these guys are really screwing up the Nascar people who try to follow the sport. Now they add insult to injury with these teleprompter goofs who between all of them may have watched one race.

McNabb is a good example of an the athlete that doesn't need a brain to compete.

"I'd like to hear Donovan Mcnabb's take on NASCAR"...said no one EVER
I don't even get the point of having that discussion - you don't see Darrell Waltrip breaking down football game film on FOX Football Daily. FS1 doesn't have in-studio NASCAR analysts; at least ESPN has Ricky Craven.

Fox Sports 1, much like Fox News Channel, is building itself around its personalities.

Donovan McNabb ‏@donovanjmcnabb
Glad to see that you are watching @FOXSportsLive. If you have any questions to what I said, look up the word and you will have your answer.

As a public service, I decided to look up and send Mr. McNabb the definition.

Actually, FoxNews built itself around solid reporting that wasn't skewed to the Left like all the rest of the media. But you already knew that, didn't you?

Megyn Kelly, Sean Hannity, Greg Gutfeld, Elizabeth Hasselbeck, Steve Doocy, Gretchen Carlson and Brian Kilmeade are journalists who report news without bias? BWAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHA!:XXROFL::XXROFL::XXROFL:

Fox News is opinion programming. But go ahead and click your heels three times and tell yourself it's news. Want a news channel that offers solid reporting, turn on Aljazeera.

nothin gets exposure like controversy !

fs1 thanks you andy . ha!

When it comes to football and baseball, Fox Sports 1 is much better than the "Worldwide Leader".

Fox and ESPN both disrespect NASCAR and race fans every chance they get. It's excruciating watching SportsCenter cover NASCAR when Ricky Craven isn't on (at least ESPN has enough respect to have a driver-analyst on to discuss NASCAR). I watch Keith Olbermann's ESPN2 show and, when he has to plug NASCAR, he does it with so much ****** disdain in his voice.

At least ESPN has good race coverage. Fox's pre-race, race commentary and post-race coverage sucks and has sucked for a decade... just like Fox's MLB coverage sucks. Now, we've got retired football has-beens coming on after the race to tell us NASCAR isn't a sport and drivers aren't athletes.

NBC Sports Network can't come in soon enough.
