I'm proud of NASCAR Nation for coming down on this idiot like the bad plague.

Only reason why he's even in the studio as an "analyst" is because he used to be an NFL player. Guy has no ethics or credential to be in front of a camera.

People will put just about anyone in front of a tv camera these days.

Yeah, think she was born in Beloit and raised in Roscoe. Kind of like Danica. He said here in the paper before the first Andretti-era Mile race that he was a "naturalized" Packers fan and was even at Lambeau during a game as a guest of the team. There was a picture of him and Nicole in Packers jerseys on his Twitter but I couldn't find it.

Last year, SPEED couldn't bother to show the ****** Monaco GP race live. This year, NBC airs it live, on broadcast television, and records the largest ratings in F1 history and fans still bitch. Hell, SPEED didn't even bother to send a broadcast crew to Austin, TX last year while NBC sends a crew to Monaco.

NBCSN is great - wish they aired every motorsport on the planet.

As far as Fox Sports 1 letting the guy on there to spout that flawed opinion, I don't have a problem with it. I don't agree with him but then again I don't agree with half the things said on this forum and I'm not pissed at its host.

We're all like brothers and sisters here in NASCAR Nation. We argue amongst ourselves all the time, but if someone from the outside says something bad about our sport, we band together to unleash our wrath upon them. :)

I forgot that they did this until I read this story. Here's a segment of it. Interesting to me.

An ESPN “Sports Sciences” story in 2012 showed what Denny Hamlin goes through in a race. ESPN was allowed to have sensors inside Hamlin’s car—and one inside his body that he swallowed—to gather information during the 2012 Coca-Cola 600.

The ESPN report showed that Hamlin’s car was 130 degrees throughout the race, that he sweated 3.5 pints of perspiration an hour, lost 13 pounds of water weight during that event and that his neck supports g-forces of 40 pounds in the turns—in a 400-lap race, that’s 800 40-pound reps with his neck. His heart rate was 130 for the event, which is comparable to an endurance runner except that the Coke 600 lasts twice as long as a marathon would.

My opinion is McDummy doesn't have the brain cells to be a part of a setup like that, I think he genuinely meant what he said, did others take the opportunity to exploit his idiocy, probably.

I am sure for the most part that is the case, but I highly doubt Nascar is pissed at FS1 over it.
 
There are about 60-70 plays in a football game, each one lasts about 6-7 seconds on average. So players use their skills for about 7 minutes over three hours. And with an offense and defense any one player works about 3-4 minutes during a game.
