N'wide @ Charlotte Race thread

The race was way more than I expected. The finish was just as lame as I'd expected.

Wow Hornish has finished in the top 3 10 times this season. Wow pretty good.

Yet someone who doesn't even have a win is leading by 8 points. lol

That's what happens when the people that finish first and second every week aren't eligible for driver points. Ahha

Too complicated for most it looks like. You have cup guys racing and you have N'wide racing for a championship against each other in the same race. then sometimes a N'wide wins and beats the cuppers and the regulars. That seems to make most everybody happy. The N'widers gave em hell tonite.

Samantha sounds exactly like Brooke. She got Gordon into this Thank the lord this and that state of mind he looked like a drone.

Its simple. You dont.

Truck series is doing mighty fan by its lonesome.
the trucks are different more like local short track racing. Some of the best races I've ever been to are the trucks when first started. We want to all of the trucks races they had at Flemington NJ, it was great the camper was back right up to the fence around the track. walk around the garage no passes the were just glad you showed up.

Show us, on the doll, where she touched you.

I'm probably the only one who feels this way, but I think that actually ended up being a decent race, especially towards the end. I had no idea who was going to win. Kyle just reached out and snatched that trophy from Hornish in the last few laps. I dunno where that came from.

I have to admit, I'm actually somewhat impressed.

Sam Hornish couldnt out drive Kyle Busch tonight. Simple as that. I want the cup guys out but when you pass for the lead then give it back, its on you

The problem is that drivers like Kyle Larson, Sam Hornish, and other Nationwde Team are on one level, while Cuppers are on another level, in every aspect. There's a reason they don't allow Major League Baseball Players play in the Minor Leagues.

Actually, it's the equivalent to letting the New York Yankees play the Salem Red Sox. Kyle couldn't do anything when he didn't have a Cup team behind him.

I was pretty surprised too. Didnt think Kyle had enough car to get it done but I guess the talent made up for it

I'm aware of the series. It's not minor league.

So how can Nationwide Drivers showcase their talent when all anyone ever talks about is Kyle Busch, or one of the other Cuppers that dominate the race?

Whaddya mean? Aren't you guys talking about it?
You do not have to be in first place to showcase your talent.
It's about the stopwatch, how well you get on and off pit road, how well you relate what's going on with the car, how well you run in traffic, how well you adjust your line with the changing race surface, etc.
