Because the champion didn't have zero wins and four top 5's. In every single year prior to 2014, the champion DESERVED it whether or not he was truly the best car/team that season. If Newman ends up winning the title and you actually believe he deserves it with the season he's had, you're high.

At this point you're just arguing for the sake of arguing. If you can't understand the point some of us are trying to make, I can't help you.
