nascar channel. Watch all things nascar from all divisions..24 hrs a day..interviews, etc

I guess it depends on how much each race would be. If it was like money in one payment, for all the races, then yes I would do that.

Im with lisa. If its $50 bucks a race, then no. But like $5-10 bucks? For no commercials? Sign me up.

PPV? Seriously?

$30 x 38 races = too freakin much.
the cable bill is already over a $100 a month, no way will I pay to watch each race. nascar well just fade a way if they do that. they tried PPV in the late eighties at Pocono.

$100 a month and constantly rising. Its ridiculous.

Depends on the price. If it was a value then yes. I would pay to be able to use my scanner and headset at home.

I use the Sprint Nascar app on my phone to listen to in-car audio and radio broadcast during the race. Granted the app sucks, and it comes in as a delay (which I correct by timing the TV with my DVR) but its free!

how much does that Stream app cost that the hawk all the time?
the one to listen to teams communications

Isn't that what DirecTV Hot Pass was for a couple of years? Regardless, that won't fly with FOX and NBC.

I think if you could pick and choose between races to PPV or not, then it would be a win win. The guys at the track on the camera's are filming non stop anyway.

I would be willing to pay $100 per year for commercial-free pay per view service. Maybe they can offer it as an optional service alongside the current commercial-filled broadcasts.

Considering the obscene amount they want for 'rassling, boxing and UFC stuff I envision brain rubbing his hands in glee anticipating how much more cash could start rolling in.

If it goes PPV I'll say bad words and find another sport.

Hell, to get MavTV, I'd have to upgrade two tiers, and that another $35 a month I don't want to spend. I would not buy PPV races.

It could be done. TV--whether cable or dish, is the biggest bunch of horse**** ever. Why the hell can't I simply order from a list of channels what I want? Because somebody has to get rich off the deal. I HATE IT! ....and when I want a channel, and my provider hasn't herky jerked the broadcaster for the rights (FS2), I can't get it, and after ONE ************* YEAR NOBODY WILL TELL ME WHY!!!!! So, I am in favor of anything that gives me a little control. Dependent upon how much they charge, they had better throw in pre and post race in addition to bringing me my beer.

IMO, nascar is heading to paid premium service sooner or later. Like HBO or Showtime, you'll either pay the $15 a month to watch, or listen on the radio instead.

I don't think the majority would pay for every race. I wouldn't. That being said, there's alot of races that I would pay for.

If it was an option, it could be a great tool for the networks, NASCAR, and the fans.

And I want to hear DW on the commercial breaks lol.

A lot of this would be dictated by what PPV could offer for the premium price. If they can include better camera angles, options for driver scanner audio, and more overall immersion for a good price, I'd be all over this idea and have no problem paying for a great race experience.

And DWs mic better be hot throughout the race.

The more I think about it, the more I really like this idea. I think if Fox, for example, aired their regular coverage like normal, but offered the option for PPV with no commercials and more immersion, it would be a win-win for all parties.

I'm all in.

Would be kind of hard to sell commercials if the advertisers knew that the fans could just pay $x and not see them.

The advertisers could still pay to have their logo plastered above the scoring bar or something.

Would still be able to stream ppv events online anyway. Not paying for ppv for the longest season in sports.

No way Im gonna miss the fun of fast forwarding thru all them commercials, plus I pay the cable company 150 bucks a month already
