My store closes at 8pm central time, so I’ll get to watch the race. So I’m all good with the start time.10 eastern time for the truck race? Wow.
Got the hats to Victory Lane already. I like it. You'll never know what hit ya.If Bell and Larson puts on as good a show this coming Sunday as they did at Turkey night in Ventura a few years ago we are all in for a treat. I can’t wait to see one of my great HMS drivers racing to victory in an awesome Chevrolet this weekend.
The one with the propeller on top? That's a beanie. Enjoy yourself. I hope you brought plenty of tissues though.. My Rheem hat looks good on me.
You are freaking awesome man. Truly. The one with the propeller on top? That's a beanie. Enjoy yourself. I hope you brought plenty of tissues though.
It's going to be a hell of a race. You are freaking awesome man. Truly.
My “weekends” are Sunday and Monday so my 6:00 alarm is gonna feel really early Saturday morning! Worth it though. Only one weekend of racing leftMy store closes at 8pm central time, so I’ll get to watch the race. So I’m all good with the start time.
I'll never understand that10 eastern time for the truck race? Wow.
Joey said they didn't really use it last year eitherWild to me that Larson is the oldest in the bunch now here. Feels like it was just the other day when he was going toe to toe with Gordon, Keselowski, and Harvick at Chicagoland in the spoiler role as a rookie.
For all of the importance placed on simulations it’s interesting, although not super surprising, that Larson pretty much avoids the sim as much as possible because it doesn’t replicate butt feel. He’ll do the post-race data validations for the team but that’s it.
Maybe Larson should be using that simulatorNot calling it "struggling" but I certainly did not expect no Hendrick car to practice better than P7.
Agreed. Was just thinking and does anyone else realize how vanilla this final 4 is this year? I mean which one of these guys is going to do any trash talking or give a great sound bite? Besides Bubba coming after Kyle I can't remember any of these 4 being in any type of scuffle?
Abundance of talent, but lack of personality

Really? I have listened to people bitch about Poor Richard's puppy for years, and now we have vanilla? I don't think these drivers lack personality. They lack the personality drama mongers seek. Was just thinking and does anyone else realize how vanilla this final 4 is this year? I've seen this movie before. Don't you dare bring out your reverse jinx voodoo for this one.I think Blaney wins a championship tomorrow. Seems to be the class of the field in practice so far, and he's entirely locked in, and seems to have a swagger no one else has right now. His championship to lose.
And with all the speed the 5 has had this year, what a shame to bring, once again, the slowest of the final 4 cars to Phoenix. I hope practice isn't too much of an indicator, but a pit stop won't save them two times. Gotta bring something fast in qualifying, otherwise, I don't know if it's looking too good.
Side note, congrats to the Keselowski family!

Yeah the final 4 pick before the rest of the field regardless of where they qualify on speedHey can someone explain how the pit stall selection works? I heard them say that Byron has the first pick at a stall because he qualified faster than the other 3 championship guys. Does that mean he can choose the first pitbox regardless of if he’s on pole or not?
