Sure hope she washed her hands afterwards.

Still not sold on the new track surface/configuration, I mean the racing wasnt bad, or maybe I just dont remember the racing on the old surface

Not bad but still seems the only way you can catch the leader is with a caution flag.
Harvick was strong when he was coming up through the field and when he was out front. I just don't think anyone had anything for him.

I'm sure some drivers will get in the chase with out a win, they will be a long shot to win it all.
Doubt it. If this was in place last yr, Jr would have gotten in on points instead of wins & would have won the championship still without winning a single race.

# 4----1 win ...................# 41----1 blown motor

wonder how that goes this week ! ha!

It hasn't been the same to me. The first couple years of the COT and the old surface at Phoenix seemed to produce good racing. Yesterday wasn't horrible but I can't wait till the track wears more.

That's why qualifying for that race will make or break the Tommy Baldwins and Phil Parsons out there.

The "crapshoot" tracks are behind us now, anxious to see who "brings it" to Vegas

Surprisingly low TV numbers for Phoenix. I thought there would be a positive Jr. effect.

After a record-low at Daytona, overnight ratings did not bounce back for the second race of the season.

Sunday’s NASCAR Sprint Cup “The Profit on CNBC 500″ from Phoenix earned a 4.8 overnight rating on FOX, down 9% from a 5.3 last year, and down 4% from a 5.0 in 2011. The 4.8 is the lowest overnight for the second Sprint Cup race of the season since FOX began airing coverage in 2001.

The 4.8 is also the lowest overnight for the spring Phoenix race since it moved to its current date in 2010.

Though the Daytona 500 hit a record-low in television ratings, it has been suggested that Dale Earnhardt Jr.‘s victory would provide NASCAR some much-needed momentum going into the rest of the season. At least this past Sunday, that was not the case.

Despite the lower numbers, Sunday’s race was easily the top sporting event of the weekend on broadcast.

Not surprised, Fox killing the Speed channel for constant stick n ball promos ON THE NEW FOX SPORTS 1... blah blah. Next up... refusal to pay Nascar's bill..citing lack of viewership.
