Plane Crash in Statesville NC

It's kind of sad that we have all these so called "experts" weighing in and speculating. Because I don't read most articles or watch the videos I don't know what actual facts have been made public. :(

Same here. At this point the only one to pay attention to is the upcoming Govt's NTSB report of the crash that comes after they take everything apart and analyze everything.

....and even after that.....this isn't going to bring Greg and his family back, and I doubt we will feel better. I get the human need to know...but I am fine not knowing because it isn't going to change anything. Ditto on the Hamlin tragedy.

Well, it probably ISN'T that important for MOST of us to know, but if you fly one of these aircraft or fly IN one, it could save lives. Regardless of what the ultimate issue was that triggered this tragedy, I don't think there is ANY question that the pilot made some SERIOUS mistakes, and clearly SHOULD have known better, much like the two clowns responsible for Dale Jr's near tragedy.

The ONLY thing in question is why one of the engines failed. The handling of the aircraft after the failure is out there for the whole world to see, and you don't need the NTSB to learn that you should NEVER try to do what the pilot did, ESPECIALLY in THAT airplane. EVERYONE with ****pit time in that aircraft will tell you that. It's an underpowered slug with TWO engines, and the pilot tried to execute a slow, tight, low altitude turn on one engine with the gear and flaps down. Almodt guaranteed disaster.

I'm told that the reason there are fewer death notices made public now-a-days is that thieves are using those notices to burglarize the homes of the relatives of the deceased during funeral services, knowing that no one is likely to be home.

A special place in hell certainly awaits the s.o.b.'s.

^ Imo this crime is lower than stealing flowers off of a grave. The kind of stuff that deserves some serious punishment. I hope they find the guilty and make them pay.
I just read in on AP news.
Unbelievable. These thieves are garbage.

That's the lowest of low class.

Like you said, there's a special place in hell for these p.o.s.

JANUARY 30, 2026 AT 1:52 AM

The Biffle family has announced the formation of the Biffle Family Legacy Impact Fund, established in partnership with the Foundation For The Carolinas, to support communities and individuals in need through intentional, compassionate giving.

Rooted in the values and lifelong passion of Greg and Cristina Biffle, the Fund was created to carry forward their deep commitment to service, generosity, and hands-on involvement in the communities they cared about most.

The Biffle Family Legacy Impact Fund will focus on meeting real needs, strengthening communities, and supporting causes that create meaningful, lasting impact.

“This fund honors the Biffle family’s longstanding legacy of giving back, demonstrated time and time again through their commitment to service and generosity,” said Jordyn Biffle.

“It ensures that spirit continues by supporting meaningful work and impact across a wide range of charitable causes.”

Through its partnership with Foundation For The Carolinas – a community foundation serving 13 counties in North and South Carolina – the Fund will be guided by trusted philanthropic expertise, accountability and deep local knowledge — ensuring resources are deployed thoughtfully and in alignment with the Fund’s mission and values.

The Biffle Family Legacy Impact Fund Vision:

A future where communities are stronger, hope is restored in moments of need, and generosity inspires action for generations to come.

The Fund will support initiatives that reflect the Biffle family’s belief that true impact comes from showing up, serving with compassion, and responding where help is needed most.

Grantmaking priorities and future initiatives will be announced as the Fund continues to grow.
