I love how everyone assumes it's NASCAR making a mistake. I've even seen race teams on Twitter saying NASCAR should throw the red flag to fix their problem.

MRN: Most pit road penalties this season is seven, almost doubled that today.
14 pit road penalties...... it's not like every single driver is penalized. TNT's exaggerating this. As for the drivers, I've never met a driver who made a mistake.
