Pocono Cup Thread

14 speeding penalties?!?! There's definately something wrong on NASCAR's part if there's really that many cars with penalties after one pit stop. There's no way all those cars are speeding.

I see a water bottle on the track just after turn four.

I just knew someone was going to say it... :D

MRN: Most pit road penalties this season is seven, almost doubled that today.

14 pit road penalties...... it's not like every single driver is penalized. TNT's exaggerating this. As for the drivers, I've never met a driver who made a mistake.

It's all in one spot and it's been so many drivers, that's something with the part of the scoring on the speeding as that many drivers are not going to make that same mistake in the exact same place.

It's cheap and taste good to me. I had some Bell's yesterday, it was pretty good.

The place I get my beer at sells a 12 pack of Heavy Seas (it's a "sampler" pack that comes with four different types of beers, but I've never had a bad Heavy Seas brew so it's all good) 12oz. bottles for the same price as anyone else sells a 12 pack of the discount beers. Complete no-brainer.

Buffalo Wild Wings has Loose Cannon on tap. If I go anywhere else, I just get Yuengling. BWW has the best wings and beer in town but I don't go there often because they just opened and their service leaves a lot to be desired. That's typical in St. Charles though, it usually takes nine months for a place to have good service.

So, beer for people with no brains...nice ;)

I haven't seen it in NY, I usually get a Saranac sampler here. They have the best Ales I have had so far.

And I'm not saying this just to sound like some big man, but I can't do Bud Light or Budweiser. Bud Light tastes like piss and Budweiser makes me sick, without the buzz. I can drink Miller products though.

I am not too much of a beer snob, like I said Coors is cheap, it's cold and goes down quickly.

I definitely have my preferences, but I won't turn down a bottle (or can) of Miller Lite. I can tolerate most beers -- just not Budweiser products. But if I'm paying for my beer out of pocket, it's definitely going to be Heavy Seas.

OK enough of our future AA hall of fame talk. Back to the race.
I mean no offense to anyone who makes AA work for them.

As for the pit road speeding penalties, it's a well known fact that drivers push the limit and speed in between scoring loops. I doubt this is NASCAR's fault. Drivers push the limit, and there's nothing wrong with that because that's what their job is. Remember, NASCAR gives the drivers a 5 mph window of tolerance.

Totally my opinion, but drivers know track position is important at Pocono and are pushing the limit as much as they can and they're just getting caught today.
