Race thread: 104th Indy 500

Saving fuel.

I meant the frequency of it. If it's all planned, do it every 3-5 laps and create less turbulence, etc. But I can see the argument for why they may have thought the turbulence would inhibit the cars behind.

Just as Sato was about to get around Dixon too.

Pretty sure this makes Pato the only rook not to be in some sort of incident today.

Indy pit road strikes again. Hope Sato’s wing is okay

Anyone else notice that it’s been nice to actually watch the race and not have an ad every 8 minutes?

What a load of ****. Congrats to Dixon on the win.

Ridiculous. Sorry, but Max Papis and Kyle Novak are bad in Race Control.

Granted, probably shouldn't have happened because it looks like Rossi had a problem on the right rear. It always goes wrong for him on pit road.

Can we get a live crossover between this and the Cup race so Rick Allen can tell us about Rossi's ADVERSITY?

Haven't noticed much difference honestly. When they're reading promos for NBC shows during green flag racing and missing live crashes...

Dixon has had a Golden horseshoe about as long as Jimmie.

This man is going to **** around a win the championship today.
Newgarden is second in points as they run right now at 100 back. Dixon could almost sleepwalk to the title from here if things hold.
