RACE thread --- The All Star

Kinda hard to miss when they show the speeds in the bottom left corner every so often.

Not that it makes any difference to me, but even I can read a graphic and realize they're 20 mph or so off the usual pace here.

They are entering/exiting the corner on the bottom with out losing any ‘momentum’. They aren’t unstable at-all. The way they are getting around the track in itself shows you how slow they are going.. let alone how you CAN actually tell they are going slower with the naked eye and you CAN tell how long it takes for them to get going on restarts but whatever.

I couldn't care less about the all star race. They could cancel the whole thing and I wouldn't care. What concerns me is that when Nascar (or a potential buyer) sees all the raving over this race, they'll decide they need to restrict the engines for all races.

So when they see fans for the most part seem to enjoy it they shouldn't consider using it more?
Or should they go with the Brian France version of deciding what the fans want for them?

I've been following for 25 years. There's nothing wrong with trying this in the all star race and if the majority of the fans seem to like it there' nothing wrong with lookiung as using it more. You used the term "entertainment" before as derogatory. When i watch sports I hope to be entertained.

Anyone who's seen a real race at that track can tell they are going slower. It's like they are racing Bristol at Charlotte.
