Random NASCAR Stuff to talk about.....

So judging from the pictures those other pictures with the Chevy's with the spoilers not as wide were wrong?

Why is it yellow?
Johnson to run special scheme in Shootout: #48-Jimmie Johnson is scheduled to run a throwback Daytona Yellow paint scheme in the Shootout at Daytona International Speedway on Saturday, February 16. Daytona Yellow was a paint color used by General Motors in 1969 and 1970, on the Chevelle SS, Camaro SS and Corvette.(Team Lowe's Racing Twitter), see image of the scheme on my #48 Team Schemes page.(12-10-2012)

The earlier pics I saw had just the right side chopped. I'm not sure about the height.

Pemberton said on the radio today that it is all about reaching a drag number . In order to reach that number with narrower spoilers ( that are curved not flat like before) , Junior's spoiler had to be one inch higher than last year. Junior said that made vision out the rear window very bad.

Bad view out the back might make for more wrecks! A Bruton improvement?
No conspiracy here , just a drag number that must be achieved for every make of car ........if you are willing to put a snowplow on the front , you can presumably take the splitter off .:D

Looks like a Camry in the front. Cup cars looking more like the actual production models is something many have been complaining about for some time now. But obviously not everyone agrees on this.

Nice looking car, but the Pacer was my favorite. Nothing like taking an aquarium for a spin.

I wonder how much glass coverage was on those things.
