Random NASCAR Stuff to talk about.....

I hope the SS looks like that when it hits the track, but past experience tells me it wont.
You are probably correct about the car.

As far as that pic of Jr's car goes.....

Heck, I wish that he could run that car unsponsored. It looks just fine to me the way it is in that pic.

Damn, that was a smoooooth Jr. mention! ;)

I like it also. I think it looks awesome.

Imagine how good it would look with a valance instead of that splitter wall.

You can always compare the pic to the SS that's here in February.

Michael Waltrip to appear on "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition"

Michael Waltrip and the employees of Michael Waltrip Racing teamed up with ABC’s “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” builders and designers to surprise a Lincolnton, N.C., family in a holiday-themed episode of the popular home makeover show.

Waltrip makes a special appearance in two segments of the episode to air Monday, Dec.17 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.

Rest of the story here.

Wait what?

"Hey, Matt, do you remember wrecking me SEVEN times last year, 'cause I don't?"

"No I don't, Brian, but I hear that if the same lie is repeated enough times, people start to believe it."

Looks like the photographer could've framed that a bit better if he/she didn't care to crop it later. That or someone else just snapped it for fun.

This is my buddy's '69 Daytona (The Superbird isn't finished yet.)

I bet the tail and trim just falls in.

Wow, that rhymed. I'm a regular Kid Rock tonight.

Great cars like that inspire great things. They evoke emotion and purpose out of the men that drive them.

Is it still a gate? My mistake. I thought they now moved wall sections to allow access.
Let's call it an upgraded gate. It is no longer a guard rail that hinges on the wrong side and it includes a safer barrier attached to it. I went through my pics last night looking for a good shot of it when it's open. I could only find one and it was from a distance. I'll try to get a better pic in March.
