Random NASCAR Stuff to talk about.....

JR.'s ride

I loved that segment of grid chatter on trackside tonight. But, I think FenderBumber could have helped them step it up to another notch.:D

Is that the scheme that replaces the old DuPont one?

I wanna see the 'Rainbow' again. Maybe he'll run it in his final season (2026? o_O )
Yeah, that's it. The first race it's scheduled to be run at is Texas next month. I also would love to see the Rainbow scheme at least once more before he retires. Rusty and Mark ran some throwback schemes a few years ago when they were retiring.

I missed it. What was it about?
They had about 7 or 8 one liner skits with some of the drivers, but I think you could have done an even better job then they did, because you are pretty good at coming up with some good one liner jokes.;)

Larry Mac's butchering of the English language is off the charts. Extry instead of extra, them instead of those, heighth instead of height, was instead of were...how is it that someone like that can't talk is allowed to be on TV? And a few weeks ago he claimed that the air was "confused"...WTF, man?

I forget, where is it that you are from?? Detroit, Chicago, the rotten (big) apple, of course the people there all speak perfectly understandable english. The only people you ever make fun of their speech are from the south east. Oh sheet I forgot, your the most perfect person on the planet. Damn, sorry.

It is just race team talk. We may not be politically correct, but we get the job done. All it means is that the air is being disturbed and it is going in all different directions instead of flowing smoothly over the body.

Thank you for unconfusing the air between Matts ears.;)UNconfusing????

Nice. Now explain 'tight' and 'loose' for him.

I am just talking about Larry Mac. But thanks for choosing to turn this into a regional issue and a personal attack on me. LOL

It's my opinion that people that are representing a major sport on major networks should at the very least be able to speak decent English. And it has nothing to do with his accent.

But I don't suppose you took any time to consider any of that because you were too busy thinking of how you could try to insult me. Typical.

Fair enough. But I stand firmly behind the other aspects of my opinion.:)

I will probably go watch practice and Sprint Cup qualifying on fri, and then the Nationwide race on sat of next week at the California Speedway. Does anyone know if there is going to be a hauler parade next week?

I see that Kurt Busch and is crew are hanging out at the Supercross race in Indy tonight. The fun cool things you can do when you have a jet on speed dial.:D

I agree with Matthew. Larry butchers the English language beyond acceptability. But he's got the right, I suppose.

I commented on his "air is confused" statement after Daytona. I have heard the term used in aviation as well. But coming from him, well...

It's EKSPESHULLY disturbing...

Thats not true, its a compilation of your insults to the southern people, if I get the time I'll go back and get twenty five or thirty examples but being , in your words, ultra smart you are right of course and uninsultable.

Whatever floats your boat, man. If you are obsessed to the point where you find it necessary to undertake such an endeavor then go for it.

FTR, I have no issue with southerners. I only have issues with intentional ignorance and people who take pride in such ignorance which, unfortunately, occurs in every city in every state. However, if I were a southerner I would take offense at how certain people choose to represent the south.

Johali, there's a reason why people look down on others but it's not contempt they deserve but rather compassion they need for the areas in which they're lacking.

A good example, if you need one, is when people ask you if you're mad as if they're taking some perverse pleasure in another's anger. Think about it ;)

I can understand Larry Mac and all of the Nascar TV people just fine. I had a hard time understanding the Limey pit reporter working the pit at Sebring yesterday.:idunno:

Where can I lodge a complaint about how you choose to represent Michigan?

That's too logical. Are you phuckin' crazy? ;)
