Random NASCAR Stuff to talk about.....

If I post under the influence of Bud, Miller Lite or Coors it will be NASCAR related because NASCAR and/or NASCAR drivers encourage me to drink those beverages.:)

Cameras are banned @ Daytona? That's the first I've ever heard that. Heck, I've never tried to hide my camera going into a race and I've never had a problem.

You know better than that! The reason I carry the small one is Large Camera bags are not allowed and my other camera is LARGE:

Other permitted items:
  • Binoculars, scanners, headsets, cameras, not in a bag, worn separately over the neck or on the belt will be allowed.

Although I never had anyone say anything about my large camera bag, I found that wagging one of those monsters around was hard on my shoulder. Went to small camera rather quickly.

Make you sure you eat both Mac and Cheese and Mashed Potatoes and Gravy. It's not good to drink on a empty stomach

"Excuse me, Ma'am, but your bag is too big for our facility." Hard to believe that no one has ever said that ;)

I suppose you could always say " yes but he's my husband and he has a ticket."

It's too bad they can't put the real sponsor on the car in the games.

Crap... Back on track for me.

BACON!

I love bacon and they were frying it on the track at Kentucky. :D

It friggin' Tuesday, and now there's nothing to talk about. Nice work to the whiners.

Even when I was getting piled on last week I never complained to the mods. I just temporarily used the ignore feature and licked my wounds. (of course I realize that I brought it upon myself and also I kind of don't care lol)

They came after me because I had the nerve to agree with you in one of your posts . Just so you know , I won't be doing that again. :D

The ignore feature is one of the best features of this website. It allows you to view the relevant content while eliminating the crap that adds nothing to the topic or the website.

I thought we were all just having fun last week. Hell I enjoyed it. Hope nobody really took it seriously, we were all just busting each other's onions.

Back @ Daytona. Time for all of the wannabe aerodynamicists to get off of their collective couches and tell NASCAR how to fix things at the plate tracks. Cup practice starts @ 4:00 today and then again @ 6:35 on Speed.

Back to Racing: Hamlin out Bowyer in.

HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. -- Joe Gibbs Racing announced Wednesday that it has altered its driver lineup for Friday's Nationwide Series Subway Jalapeno 250 at Daytona International Speedway.
Denny Hamlin, who was scheduled to drive the No. 18 Dollar General Toyota, will now take the night off in order to rest a sore back in preparation for Saturday's Sprint Cup Series race. Joey Logano will move from the No. 20 to now pilot the No. 18 Sport Clips Toyota. Clint Bowyer will now drive the No. 20 Dollar General Toyota for JGR. Brian Scott will remain behind the wheel of the No. 11 Dollar General Toyota.

Pretty Cool! I'm working my @$$ off today to get everything caught up hopefully I can spend all day tomorrow and Saturday at the Track!!! It really bites when you can hear the engines butt not be there.

Kids see them plain as day on racedays, so I dont really understand why they cant be in the game.

There's actually a Federal Law here in the States that basicly says No Alcohol, Tobacco or Firearms can be marketed towards children.

You can't show Budweiser on a game but you can show a guy shooting someone with a shotgun or running people over with a car. Makes a lot of sense.
