Random NASCAR Stuff to talk about.....

IDK, I just made this up an hour ago. :D

OK, rules.
You MUST run the first race and start the second. If a top team S&P's, they can deal with their sponsor and the boo's.
If you wreck your first car, you fix it during the first race or pull out a backup.
Using a backup in the second race follows the same rules as qualifying. If nascar says there is enough damage, you change under the usual start from the back rule.
You can choose to use a backup for the second race, but it will cost you 5 points.
Limit tires to enough for both races, but teams can decide how and when to use them.
Each team gets one extra set of a softer tire. They can only use them when there are a safe number of laps to go. Lets say Goodyear limits those softer tires to 25 laps. Teams would only have the option to put them on 20 or less to go. We will once again see tire strategy. But run them too long, and you'll be slow at the end.

What else?
Here we go.More freakin RULES.:D

:windows: Exploded.

Shorten MIS to 300 miles and I'll stop going. Not worth the cost, time and effort.

But Formula 1 has 90 minute races and still manages to be far and away the number one racing series on the planet.

Why does this even bother you?

Why not just post the link instead of that dictionary you posted so people posting on their phones don't have to scroll through 20 pages of that France interview? But hey, you would rather be defensive about it.

Good for Johanna. She isn't running in top equiptment.

Like I've said, she is a local driver that can wheel the hell out of a car, check her local record, the only Female to win the Snowball Derby against Nascar drivers among lots of other races that if I list here Matt will attempt to strangle me with smilies.

maybe when Danica moves up, she'll have a shot at a JRM ride.

Interesting observations.

There is no stall #13. I guess they use 12A to avoid bad luck.

Nemecheck, Brad, Blaney chose boxes close together. Brad and Blaney worked well together at Talladega last year.

Then comes the 49 car. There is no 49 car entered. I guess that's Yeley in the 249.

Elliott qualified well and is pitting with a bunch of veterans. I bet he has plenty of help to choose from tonight.

Dodge buying Penske's engine program? For those worried about Dodge perhaps folding its tent at the end of 2012, without any teams yet on its 2013 NASCAR roster, the good news is that Chrysler officials, according to company sources, have just ordered a full inventory of Penske's NASCAR engine operation (80-men strong), with firm indications the company will buy Penske's Dodge operation and go into the NASCAR 'customer engine' business itself, just as Toyota does with its Los Angeles-based TRD NASCAR engine building program. Such a move by Chrysler would open the door for someone like Michael Andretti to venture into NASCAR with a new Sprint Cup team (even though Penske himself has warned Andretti that running a NASCAR team requires five times as many people and three times as much money to operate as an Indy-car team). One Dodge question is whether the Richard Petty two-car team, currently fielding Fords, with factory support, would stick with Ford or move to Dodge.(MikeMulhern.net)(7-7-2012)

What if Kenseth and KuBu are starting their own Dodge organization and hiring Logano or Allmendinger as their 3rd driver?
