Off topic here Pete but I got a text from my brother that he and my mom just spent the night in Kapuskasing, Ontario on their way back to Whiterock, BC after visiting my sis in Perth, Ont.

Looks like its just a stones throw from Cochrane. Did you see them go by?

If every person in this country hasn’t already figured out that mainstream media is completely lost and corrupt then we’ve been under rocks. “Anonymous” sources is now the way to openly lie and get away with it. DO YOUR OWN HOMEWORK folks.
 
Since NASCAR said they were interested in running stadium street circuits, I wonder why I haven't heard rumors about MetLife Stadium yet. NASCAR has been trying to get into the New York market for years now, this could be their chance to finally do so

It is a shame when someone says or states the truth it gets banned or a person looses his or her job. I guess the paradigm shift has lead us to this, hard to believe, but true it looks like. I read absolutely nothing disparaging in M. Wallace's statement.

whether hes right or wrong I'm not here to judge that, with the racial unrest, political unrest, and general overall anger in this country right now you cant say those things. He didnt read the room and now hes paying for it.
 
Wallace got his ass beat three, four years ago. He has a big mouth. Reminds me of a drunk. I don't think some have the foresight to see the gerbils focused on Wallace's car going around the track while discussing his latest tweets.

Why should ANYBODY have to tip toe around an issue and not be honest about it and not speak their mind? The "room" would love nothing more than to wipe out any and all dissenting opinion or critical analysis. That is at the very heart of political correctness.

Say what you want you want, I have no problem. But if there are consequences like losing a job because it’s not PC, because let’s be honest those people have all the leverage right now....then I can’t feel sorry for you. I like my business, house, cars, lifestyle so I would go at all lengths to keep those. If it means biting my tongue on certain issues that I disagree with then so be it. I don’t want the angry mob to take what I worked so hard for. I believe in I don’t get paid to give my political opinion or social justice issues while at work so therefore it never comes up. I also very rarely post it on social media. The only time I’ve actually ever discussed things like that is in the Podium, you should give it a try, always looking for new members. I also firmly still believe in the silent majority....and it will still win out. If you don’t like the way things are then vote.
 
Well, I have always believed that entertainment and sports people would be better served to keep their political views a little more to themselves, but ONE side clearly doesn't believe in that notion, and they are not shy about trying to use their celebrity to try to shout down the other side, so I say screw them and speak your mind. NASCAR should be ashamed of themselves over the Mike Wallace issue, because as I pointed out, there wasn't ONE THING that wasn't true in it, and if THAT is what is now considered inflammatory, then one side has officially succeeded in completely silencing the other side. Ask the NFL (not that they would tell you the truth) how it's all working out for THEM.

Auto Club Speedway left a message on my phone today. They want to confirm if I’m going to renew for 2021.
There isn’t even a 2021 schedule. California hasn’t allowed large gatherings. If Cali does open up and we have a C19 spike they will close everything up again. There is no C19 vaccine or widely effective available treatment.
What’re they thinking? :idunno:
