Hooters has closed down a number of places recently. Under performers. I haven't heard of a new CEO, that could for sure do it to sponsorship.

Yep posted about it in sponsorship thread. Not that huge as they don't sponsor as much as NAPA does.

From a fan perspective, it isn't so much the amount of sponsorship as it is the loss of an iconic sponsorship. But sponsors come, sponsors go.

Yeah that is a good move. I hope Berry can make something out of that ride. I think it is there but it isn't going to be easy, that is a small team. I hope they can get help from the Penske bunch.

I think they can be with Josh, but it sounds like Rodney Childers isn't going in a package deal. Not sure Jeremy Bullins is the answer, but time will tell.

Don't let it fool you the 21 is a Penske car. Listen to Chase talk on Stacking pennies he talked with Penske about being in the 21 way before he even actually met anyone from Wood Brothers.

It's a good move for the Wood Brothers when compared to young Harry, but unless they get some really good help from Penske, it might not be that great for Berry. They at least have to get up to Berry's/Childers SHR's level I would think out of the box.

DiBenedetto gave it a pretty good ride and came close to winning several times. Unfortunately it’s more overshadowed by how that partnership ended and some misplaced expectations on Matt’s side.

At this point, anything is an upgrade over Harrison Burton. Berry is the type of driver that could turn a struggling team into a playoff contender. With Childers as a crew chief? I think that's a scary combination.
