Singer Pitbull takes Ownership Role at Trackhouse Racing

We've seen in a couple cases now that drivers do so much better when the team is built around them than instead of jumping into a team
I’ve always thought, no matter what profession, that people work harder and get better results when they are fighting for their worth and have a chip on their shoulder, rather than having a position with huge job security and can go through the motions without worry.

If Trackhouse was performing like SHR this season, there would have been talks of “failures” and “one season team” weeks ago. Instead, guys like Aric Almirola can just get by and Suarez has to bust his ass.

We see which has better results.

been a joy to see the effort this team puts into their program each week. what a start!!

I always said it normally takes around 3-5 years (with exceptions of course, for example Tony Stewart was a pretty good rookie) for a driver to really show their potential in Cup. This is year 5 for Suarez and he's looking surprisingly good tbh.

I've said it before the last 2 years have been pretty good for him because it was a team built around him not a dropped into an existing team with a new driver (20 and 41)

Definitely. Even then though this would be around year 3 for him with said team, and is definitely still so far a big step up this year in performance.

I like that Trackhouse and even 23XI to an extent have been in striking territory every week!
Acquiring CGR resources was a good move, and Ross Chastain is a hell of a driver.

23XI still has some work to do. And Bubba needs to improve on 1.5-milers and road courses. He's good on short tracks and superspeedways though.

I'm reminded of the early MTV era when all the pop music acts insisted on having a connection to pro rasslin'. Capt. Lou and Roddy Piper were everywhere.

"... now we’re going to show the world NASCAR is not only a sport but it’s a culture."

Sounds like the edgy Monster lifestyle all over again. But I know nothing of this guy's following. I guess he can't do any harm, or attract any fewer new fans than Pastrana did.
Another celebrity flavor of the month.

Seems like pitbull is leaving trackhouse now.

“However, adding fuel to the fire, as per some eagle-eyed fans on Reddit, also noticed Justin Marks’ X handle, which previously listed him as co-owner, suddenly changed to owner.”

There’s no substantive speculation regarding Pitbull in here, just speculation that seems to have started on Reddit.

I'm just happy he invested in NASCAR for as long as he did. Great music entertainer and I enjoyed having him involved in auto racing for the amount of time he was here.

Add him to the list of celebrities one of the good ole boys convinced they should drop money into the sport and got out pretty quickly after.

"trash ass" is being kind.

Content censors won't let me say what it really is.

It's all written by AI in India or something. Same with Sportskeedia or whatever the name of that other trash site is.

It's just horse manure and should never be shared or taken seriously ever.

To Hell with AI.

Trackhouse Racing adds new investor

The recent acquisition of a significant minority stake by billionaire Marc Lasry's Avenue Sports Fund has introduced new dynamics into the ownership structure, potentially diluting existing stakes. This move, coupled with a noticeable tweak in the social media description of Justin Marks from "co-owner" to "owner," has fueled speculation about Pitbull's continued involvement in the team.

I blame that site for half the hate that Bubba Wallace gets. They put out some AWFUL headlines about him that take what happened way out of context, and then the article goes viral on Facebook.

Clickbait and trash reporting because it’s all written by a robot. It’s their model.
