The 100th Running of the Indianapolis 500 Mile Race

Should be a great day. If I can make some things work with my schedule, I'll be heading up for the race. Would love to see Newgarden or Rahal win it. As long as it isn't a Penske car, I'll be happy.

Just saw the official entry list, just 33 cars so I guess no one will be going home. Also no nascar drivers on the list.

The 1982 500 my favorite.
Gordy's last pit stop was beautiful and badass. And needed to steal one from a faster Rick Mears. I still love watching it.

Yeah it looks like Andretti Autosport did a slight bit of pack practice there...
Yeah, I didn't catch the last couple of hours but Marshall Pruett or Robin Miller said in that period AA did some team towing sessions.

Stayed on the ground....That's a good thing

If we're gonna break 230mph it's gonna happen either today or tomorrow. Cool temps and fast cars :)

Looooong range models show a slick 500. Temperatures in the 80 degree range.

I think they'll hit 230 today. Already a 227.96 on the board from Chaves and there are a lot of fast cars that have yet to put in a really good lap.

Practice 4 results

Honda continues to dominate overall, but Power (225.381 MPH) set the fastest lap without a tow once he trimmed out to qualifying aero. Boost level will be raised to 140 kPa for Fast Friday and qualifying, adding ~ 30 HP.

They are really getting after it today. Several 231+ mph runs without a tow.
