Well said and I have not posted a whole bunch but have ventured into different areas and enjoyed it. I think it will be challenging for some folks to get acclimated to a different place as NFP was not so much a forum where ideas and opinions were exchanged but a place where friends met. In fact at NFP a premium was placed on harmony and discord was essentially verboten and I referred to the place as "Pleasentville" on more than one occasion. I understand that if you were at a comfortable place and were protected by the mods and admins it could be very scary coming to a new place.
 
It'll all level out. Some will go, some will stay and some if they want to stay will quit pushing the limits set on this board or in all probability they wont be around long. TRL is the best forum admin that I've ever seen and I've been around a helluva long time. I really like most of the new members and think that they are a good addition to the board. And I don't judge people on what someone else has to say about them. Actions speak louder than words.

I don't judge people by what others say either as I prefer to form my own opinions. Everyone here seems to be cool and enjoying themselves and that is the main thing for me.

I used to be a rabid Nascar fan but have not followed the series lately. I am hoping that being part of this forum will help get me watching some of the races next year. If not then I hope to be able to shoot the breeze about other topics people want to discuss. I am not sure what topics are off limits so I will follow the leaders. The NFL and NCAA football are my favorite sports and I also like the NHL and hockey in general. I know there are some fellow Canucks on the boards so maybe a little hockey talk will ensue.

I am hoping this place will be a good fit for me and am looking forward to checking more things out. So far so good.

I heard that it was a small one...an EF0.....if you're not used to them, it'll give you a good scare.

Look in the sports and entertainment section. We have ongoing NFL and NCAA threads every year. I don't know when Hockey starts but they usually have a thread for that also. If you don't see one start one if you want.
 
Hawkey starts in October. I am a Blue Jackets fan. I'll catch some slack for that, I'm sure.

Nope that's for sure it was a small one but tore some trees up and took some roofs apart shingles were flying. This kid wanted to go out ad take pic's of the rain then all of a sudden stuff started flying he kept the camera going so he got a up front row seat for it.......

LOL The girls are adorable. My niece said they are trying to have another one now. If it's another boy, they will try again to have a girl. We told her Good Luck with That! This family tree is like all boys or all girls. 3 boys over here, 3 girls over there, on and on and like that.
 
I've a picture somewhere of my grandson asleep at the table. they just play soooo hard...

Yea they are cuties.....Ya never know how that works we thought for sure we would have a boy I have no sisters Jessicas Mom has 3 brothers...My Dad has a brother......But My Mom had 3 sisters and 2 brothers....

Yeah its cool to have someone like me and Tom I have a brother but no sisters....Oh and my brother his wife had 2 boys!!!! And his daughter had 3 sisters....

We've had'em on and off in the chit chat forum. I think the last one was "our furry family" or something. Start one if you can't find it.
