This is Gerry Garcia...Old and in the Way was album name Pig Pen name the song......

That's good stuff right there. I have large spot in my heart for OLD country music. Me and a couple buddies were the house band for little dive country bar from 72-75.
 
Was kinda funny the first time we played at that bar was the first time we ever played together. Thank god for 3 Chord country

I like that too good stuff.......I like country as well though got started listen to country after I was 23 my best friend was in Viet Nam he said buy a guitar we were both drummers at the time he said listen to Neil Young and we will jam when he got home. Soon after he returned we went on a 2 week trip and visited a Army Buddy of his in Northern New Mexico they were playing Marshall Tucker,Osark Mountain Dare Devils,Pure Prairie League and The Outlaws and we were hooked......Never heard any of those bands before the trip..........

When I was working my day started at 4-5 am most days that was early enough!!! Would have ben great after 8 hours but that never happened usually 12-14 hour days..

I wouldn't worry to much Sean. TRL seems like a very objective and fair moderator and isn't going to ban someone just because some people, especially new posters to this forum, don't like someone.

One thing that's not allowed on this site is multiple accounts... I don't know that you can change your name easily.. but you can't have multiple accounts. My husband is as big a race fan as me, and a bigger open wheel fan than I am, but he doesn't like to post much. Anyway, he signed up the same day I did, and when TRL saw the same IP address, she asked me about it before approving his membership. :biggrin:

There are a few that I am not exactly fond of either that could, or may have already shown up, but I'm not going to bother. Gosh, and if I PM'd the mods about everyone with idiosyncrasies then I would be here all day. Everyone has them.
 
Let it all play out. No sense getting all worked about it. Who knows the troublemakers may do just fine here. Let the folks here find out on our own. If Names get named we may be biased for no Reason.

Sounds good to me. LOL.. I'm not naming my husband either. He can introduce himself if he decides he wants to start posting. We were just laughing about it.. I told him if he gives me a hard time on here, I'll block him. :XXROFL:
 
I'm really trying hard not to divide my posts into "us and them". All you folks are part of this and as far as I'm concerned has been a fantastic addition.

The real reason behind informing people of your opinion of someone is to prejudice them.

I agree, Lin, and the only time I ever made a complaint (or do we say pointing out idiosyncrasies now LMAO!) was against a member who was making racist remarks. I first PM'd the member but that did no good so I spoke with a mod.

I don't understand the mentality behind trying to poison the well for new members signing up here or any other place. My grandmother used to say "don't look for trouble where trouble doesn't exist" and that saying seems to fit this scenario.

Informing on someone is what they used to do in the former Soviet Union. I used to get tattletaled on when I was a kid by other kids but I never expected it from adults.
