NASCAR needs to get back on ESPN.

Most of them, actually. The 18-49 demo was a much smaller portion of the overall audience compared to grands prix on cable so far. The demo average through the first four events was 531K.I don't doubt that, but Miami was a race at a new venue, in the US, shown in the late afternoon on Eastern time. How many of those 735K have been tuning in for European races at 8:30a or Asian ones at 0-dark-hundred? Yeah, they can record them but I'm pretty sure the broadcasters prefer viewers watch live so they can't skip over the ads.
I dunno about this.
Did you ask the poster two above me why they're discussing ratings for an F1 race?I don't either. What is it doing in the announcer thread?
That discussion was sparked by a tweet from a NASCAR on Fox announcer.Did you ask the poster two above me why they're discussing ratings for an F1 race?
My apologies I thought we were talking all things NASCAR TV in this thread as there were some non announcing discussion going on. I thought I could drop some nugget of info for this show but apparently this was a no fly zone. If the Mods want to delete then go ahead head no problem. That discussion was sparked by a tweet from a NASCAR on Fox announcer.
Ignore SOI. Nothing wrong with a little off topic discussion. This is the most fitting topic for that post.My apologies I thought we were talking all things NASCAR TV in this thread as there were some non announcing discussion going on. I said nothing about it being moved, it's creepy IMO.Did you ask the poster two above me why they're discussing ratings for an F1 race?
To avoid policing of this thread may I suggest changing the name of it if we can to a catch all “NASCAR TV” thread or something of that ilk? Or even better yet maybe making a thread with just tv discussion. Better to avoid the RacingForum.com’s Thread Police…I got ticketed and fined today. Guilty.Ignore SOI. Nothing wrong with a little off topic discussion. This is the most fitting topic for that post.
The Dillon show is creepy?I said nothing about it being moved, it's creepy IMO.
I'm sure you will be glued to the tube watching the show right after watching the masked singer lolIgnore SOI. Nothing wrong with a little off topic discussion. This is the most fitting topic for that post.
And you’d be wrong as usual.I'm sure you will be glued to the tube watching the show right after watching the masked singer lol

Nobody asked for this. It will go the way of CNN+.What is the audience for this beyond Austin Dillon's immediate family?
.... And Racing Wives.Nobody asked for this. It will go the way of CNN+.
Over or under this lasts as long as Nascar wives? What is the audience for this beyond Austin Dillon's immediate family?

That little Elvis sneer in the second gif kills me
I don’t have a clue what’s he’s doing in that second one. Maybe he has a new sponsor for epilepsy medication? That little Elvis sneer in the second gif kills me
Bill was great, I enjoyed his time in the booth. Maybe he will get another guest appearance before the Fox portion is done.Just watched the Darlington race...by far the best Fox broadcast in years. Bobby and Bill were fantastic, plus Clint wasn't annoying like usual
It’s The Dab, Charles.I don’t have a clue what’s he’s doing in that second one. Maybe he has a new sponsor for epilepsy medication?
Is that what it looks like? I missed his previous performances. I thought he was checking the effectiveness of his deodorant. It’s The Dab, Charles.
Speaking of acute observations, look at the post above yours lolAstute observation from Dennis
I might be missing the joke but I was giving my opinion on the initial tweet that Denny tweeted out as I too thought Jamie did a fantastic job and wish he was in the booth more.Speaking of acute observations, look at the post above yours lol
it might not be Its still early in my day, Im still waking up a bit.weak attempt at a joke from my part.
Probably the last race before front stretch interviews were mandatory, so probably pre-COVIDWhen was the last time that the broadcast made it to victory lane?
