The Gator...er, Budweiser Duels at Daytona

I don't get this going to the back crap when it's not your fault. They want the pole sitters to run the duals but penalize them for something that's not their fault. Such BS!!

Jimmie was out of gas. Do you expect him to start pedaling there?

Except he pulled out to pass before he was out of gas. Jeff has pushed him on plate tracks countless times, but Jimmie never returns the favor. He always ***** him. Maybe Jeff is too nice as a person. 48 is an a**hole, get over it.

I'm pretty sure he wasn't thinking "well, I'm gonna sit here in line...OH WAIT, it's Jeff, I'm gonna screw him and swing high!" :p If you don't go for the win, you don't deserve to be racing, IMO.

The stupid S.O.B.'s have lost all of their blue chip automotive sponsors..the hair club? give me a break.

They should add the thermal cam to the wind graphic so we can see how warm the air is :)

LOL...a few years from now....wind, temp., relative humidity, gravity...

"Well DW, the earth's gravity is a few milli-points off from last year's race due to the full moon's effect"

"Yeah Mike...that may have an effect on the down force...no telling...you can see what it does to the tides...it can't help."

Mike: "..and now for our magnetic pole analysis we go to Larry MacReynolds."

Lookin like the Daytona 500 will be first 10 Laps of excitement, 125ish laps of train (unless someone does something stupid) and after the last pit stop it will get racey.

Hell I don't know, I thought they gave those to the 55. I think that's the point, they have us so confused we don't know who's on first.
I think the 55 had enough points on its own last year between Mark Martin and Vickers.

Y'all are killing me! :XXROFL:

MWR ran 3 cars last year all in top 30 owner points ....I dont know which one the 66 has but they are in no question

Well, it looks like it's impossible to pass Denny and Matt and it looks like single file is the way to go until the very final lap. Another snoozer Daytona 500 ahead.

Today was qualifying. Sunday will be racing. Two different animals. Expect a wreckfest. 10 cars battling for the win on the last lap.

I do not like plate racing at all. However, I haven't seen any racing for a couple of months so this works for me.
The 2nd go 'round later this year will suck at Talladega and Daytona. Then, I will be calling for the closure of both dinosaur tracks.
The real season starts in Phoenix.
Life is good :beerbang:
