The Saga of Chris Gabehart

If what Gabehart is saying is true.....and it is very likely that it is......this is as much of a commentary on the people Coach surrounds himself with as anything. There is a problem when the boss doesn't have anybody who has the guts to hold him accountable. I am concerned....and if all of this is true....not at all happy.
Sounds like Gabehart was trying to be "that guy", and got shut down. I imagine JGR's issues internally aren't too dissimilar than the ones RFK had when Jack ruled with a heavy hand.

I think its safe to say Ty Dillon is trending toward bust, the body of work and there is enough of a sample size of it now to suggest its trending heavily that way. Would Preacher Joe have been better off keeping Kyle Busch? Salary had alot to do with the split and "sponsorship woes" but would JGR be better off with Kyle or Ty in the 18/54, I think honestly if Kyle had stayed he would have a better performance than what he has shown at RCR lately and what Ty has shown. Kyle really should have been a lifer at JGR but the Preacher after praying heavily, takes his older drivers out back and gives them the old yeller treatment.

Undoubtably. JGR fields better hardware than Childress, and Kyle knows better what to do with it. Even with the post-COVID reduced practices, there no question.

But it's Joe's team to do with as he pleases.

What does Ty Dillon have to do with any of this? ;)

And I bet they all have different ideas on how things ought to be.
It's the ol' have you asked so in so, and then you do it and another says who told you that you could do that....been there done that. Blatantly obvious when Ty's dad was alive. Bell bought a multi dirt car race team to race with his in laws for dirt racing. After he passes, Joe said he couldn't race it.

What "Hardware" is this you speak of?

Ty. Ty Gibbs. Sorry folks.

That's not "Hardware" My friend. They have the same things,You said "JGR fields better hardware than Childress" Thats absolutely not true. You and the laughing hyena should know better
Okay, I'll rephrase. JGR does a better job of fielding the hardware than Childress.

And I don't know who the 'laughing hyena' is. You're not going full Revman and assigning everyone nicknames, are you?

I kinda want to go part indian and say "he who stands up on a roof and says go high, go low".

If I had to guess I'd say someone that controls the money at Spire will make this all go away.

That's called "Engineers"
Okay, for whatever reason, in my own personal opinion, JGR has Cup cars better suited to Kyle Busch's preferences than RCR has for him to drive. Further, in my personal opinion, I suspect most Cup drivers would find a JGR car preferable for Cup racing than an RCR car.
