They changed lift-off speed by 30mph...or maybe NOT! 200+ MPH is aircraft lift-off speed. They only way they eliminate flying cars is by slowing them down. Probably swap restrictor plates for the race on Sunday.

The field is already wadded up because of plates. Reducing the plate size doesn’t unwad the field, it just decreases the speed at which 10+ cars will crash. It’s safer but the racing still sucks.

I've noticed McMurry has got much more aggressive in the last couple years. He makes plays to drive to the front - sometimes it doesn't work. I think his driving style changed when Larson came aboard. I'm guessing they work together but I wonder what caused the bumping deal - something happened between them (I hope it was just a racing deal).

McMurray takes over the legit 97 team and Kurt’s sponsors to boot... with fennig as crew chief(until he asked to be demoted to Busch series...) and then Jamie was buried 20 something in points with a team that Kurt won the title with barely 2 years beforehand.

Then remember in 2008 Jamie needed to qualify the car into the spring martinsville race on time. He was 36th in points going to that race.

Then 2010 he has the big season which he has lived off of for the last 8 years... then 2011 he finished what? 27th in points if I got that right...?

The dude has the skill but it almost seems he needs to be motivated... I dunno
