thoughts on Chevys 2013 car

They were going to come out with a G8 sport truck aka El cameno but Pontiac closed.

It may be badged as a Lumina again

They are currently selling those in Aussieland, incredibly popular. They call it a UTE.

I read a story last night that said GM was going to pump more money into Holden which leads people to believe Holden will be producing a car for Chevy other than the current police cars.

GM owns Holden and recently put more emphasis in growing them Holden nameplate, they even talked the Aussie govermant into tossing in a few bucks. Right now the Aussie dollar is so strong it's hurting their exports.

Wow and no one checked the back?

To my knowledge there were never any strange odors eminating from the vehicle. But he is a bit of a close talker. The concept of personal space is something foreign to Tim. And he doesn't move his arms when he walks. I'm pretty sure he inspired characters in more than one episode of Seinfeld.

That's what I'm going with. I think it's the "SS". If you google 2014 Chevy SS a bunch of articles pop up with it being confirmed to a come back. One article even said it may be a two door but that's wishful thinking. I think the Caprice is to big so I'm not buying that one. Hopefully they'll cut the shat and show us soon. There the only ones that have managed to keep it a secret....

The first rumor that came out a couple of years ago when this car was being discussed as the Chevelle name would be brought back and be on this car.

I don't think they would do that after the GTO disaster. Everybody compared it to the 60's even though it was just the nameplate.

Chevrolet announced Tuesday that in 2013 it will race a new vehicle in the NASCAR Sprint Cup series, a vehicle which will be a new nameplate for the brand.
The new racecar will "closely resemble the production version," and both cars will be unveiled in the next year, Chevrolet said.
The new vehicle will debut at the Daytona 500 in February 2013, said Monte Doran, a Chevrolet spokesman.
Doran said its new racecar will not be based on a current nameplate including the Malibu and the Impala, its current racecar.
"Our car will be based on a new entry to the Chevy lineup," he said.
Doran said the vehicle will be in production some time in 2013.
"Stay tuned," Doran said. "We have more news coming."
Jim Campbell, vice president of Chevrolet performance vehicles and motorsports said in a statement: "We are keeping the wraps on the new car for now and will continue to prepare for next season by testing camouflaged vehicles.
"We know that Chevrolet fans are eager to see the new racecar and we hope that the prospect of being able to own one just like it will make the wait a little more bearable."
