Kinda wish they would have maintained 110 laps, but I guess mechanical wear is a calculator on that, too. I feel like 85 laps is going to make it a fuel mileage race. I could be wrong.

I was pretty young the last time they raced the full course, so I don't really remember it. So I'm pretty excited to see the race on the course. I only ever really saw it in videos now that I'm older. I have grown to like the race here, so I hope for a good one.

I think we'll see some brake failures coming off the drag strip for the U-turn. Hopefully not many. That's also going to be a prime dive-bomb spot, just like the short chute used to be. Dive bombs into the right hander into the inner section, and dive bombs into the right hander coming out of it.

33 cars entered for the K&N West race, so refreshing to see a nice K&N entry list.

Just got our tickets for Sunday this afternoon. Last minute call. This will be 8 years in a row for us and 11 of the last 12 with the only year missed being 2011 when my Wife was expecting our Son. We have this place pretty much handled at this point. We stay left as we drive in and always end up parked right behind our seats in turn 9 and usually stop to eat at a diner just outside of the track as we navigate the traffic on the way out.

I remember our first couple of trips getting stuck on the turn 2 side of the parking and walking all the way to turn 7 and then sitting in traffic for 3 hours in the parking lot.

Now we have it perfectly set up. Can't wait.

Cant wait to see it on track this weekend
