TRD plate power=huge

I saw this last year at Phoenix !!!! Some of the zonies arent "busch friendly" LOL

someone I met at M'ville told me a scary story from back in the 90's. He was camping at a track and had a flag with the number 3 crossed out in red. Some redneck demanded he take it down. When he refused, the guy came back with a pistol in his waist band. Obviously, he took it down after the guy said please in such a polite manner. ;)

You know you're a candy ass when a woman has to save you. So....nice driver choice. ;)

At Charlotte a few years ago I had a Boston Red Sox cap on,a drunk guy said he hated Yankeess.I said so do I, he said I was a smartass and he was going to kick my ass.I said to him, That's an asskicking I'll have to take. He just looked at me, and away I walked. With my BoSox hat proudly on display.

I knew that was coming, It was still one of the funniest things I ever saw. Another time a guy came up to me at a Nationwide and said "I hop Kyle Busch hits the wall" and I said "maybe he will when he does his victory burnout" Kyle won the race and this guy was so drunk and pissed offf that he fell down about 20 steps on the grandstands!!!!! My oldest daughter started laughing so hard she got sick !!!! Absolutely hilarious this guy was

You're fun to mess with because you take it well.

Kyle is fun to watch because he'll go for it. I really hope he passes the tests to come and doesn't revert to A-hole mode. Then I can root for him, along with a half dozen other drivers. That's the beauty of being a nascar fan. There's usually someone to pull for.

Heck ya I enjoy you guys giving me a hard time !!! I have a blast.
I try to ignore some of Kyles moments, the guy is damned passionate about racing and has immense talent to boot.

Me thinks come drafting time they will have a decent chance but seems RCR has some good HP or maybe something "added"?

RCR always seems to have the power. I have always noticed that they have a throatier exhaust tone when I see them at races, not sure why that is but others have noticed it too

RCR has great single car speed. but the actual race is alot different. in particular they run special oils, in most cases light oil and even partially full differentials. this is most evident at daytona because of the special rules there. even the motors are a qualifying motor and will be changed out. the race is going to be quite a bit different. in race trim I still think the gibbs cars are going to be the ones to beat.

people making fun of my trained eye comments whatever, the technical aspect of the sport is probably more interesting to me than the actual racing. plate racing is a game of cause and effects. the effects of a move often take half a lap to show up. the reason why DEI won those races back in the day is because they could actually gap the car behind them in particular in the turns. its tuff to pass a car that just pulls away once you try to make a run on it. with these cars the springs are mandated and the bodies are pretty close to being equal and there is little to be done in the wind tunnel. So the big kicker is MOTOR, TRD has it when it comes to running in the race in race trim. I actually think the passing isn't as good as in years past.

I want A-hole mode. Maybe I'm one too. I believe in my core that he hasn't changed and that he giggles at you because you think he has. You bit on the media polishing, but at his core, Kyle is still Kyle, and I think he's awesome.

Bingo. :punkrocke

There was enough time for Joey to get back to Brad.. he was neck and neck with the 18 when Brad went low.. Brad could have stayed up and Joey would have been able to give him that push.
Hell he could be neck and neck with a giraffe.

Its coming Bud... just a matter of time

You honestly can't judge the power of one manufacturers engines by a race where there were only 18 cars (17 since Labonte quit after 5-6 laps.) And half of them got wrecked by Kenseth going down the track into Logano taking out Stewart-Hass (Harvick's car was too damaged to win) and also 2 Hendrick cars. Not to mention that all the Hendricks ended up getting wrecked. But honestly I hate Brad for doing all the blocking that he did cause he ruined his chance of winning and everyone else's.

That stat might make sense if...well, you know...Chevrolet wasn't in the sport 58 more years longer than Toyota.

this is their 7th year..maybe lucky seventh?

Yeah I was waiting for that wank..it looks even worse now. Since 07 it has been all Chevrolet with one Dodge year before last.

We'll see at the Duels I suppose. I doubt all of the teams brought out the big guns for the Shootout the other night.

...and this race is won with single cars on the track. Watch the show.
I'll wait until they show me their 500 cars improve dramatically in the draft. At the moment I would put my money on an ECR Chevy or Roush-Yates Ford.
