Truck RACE thread --- Daytona

Bobby Gerhart is Racing! ARCA Champ does anyone know if he’s in the Xfinity Race tomorrow? He usually races that race with Lucas Oil
 
What a classic Harvick clip. I had never heard that one. "Can't hold Danica's helmet". That's scary.

I think KH really wanted to say Can't hold Danica's jock strap" and then realized what he was talking about.

Ok Gurus, splain to me, the trucks work fine on the low side, but the Cup cars cant? This is perplexing to me.
 
How that was just a solo accident is nothing but a miracle.
 
That was 10 laps in the making. Tough break but he had an ill handling truck.

Completely different shaped vehicles. The holes they are punching in the air determine much of where they can run and how well. Cup car’s ass ends are inches off the track and the new spoiler width prohibits side by side momentum.
 
They may as well just put a wicker back on the roof of cup cars before Sunday. This race has been wild.

They say there is a bubble of air up close to the wall that gives them more side force. Who knows what is going to happen with a full field and a hotter track.
